Episode 3 - The Road To Goodbye
Firstly, thanks for welcoming me back after such a long time. I managed to watch episode 3 so thank you Rajeet for the link which I have bookmarked. You have saved this thread. I don't know if we have a weekly award for this forum but you can have superman of the week from me. Not official or anything but it meant a lot to me. ⭐️
Okay before we start, which I'll try not to make too long, I have redesigned the banner. I will include it before every update and I have not roamed the picture gallery (due to spoilers, I do not want to see any spoilers etc) yet but I will and will make further stuff hopefully.
I think I have like 60+ episodes to catch up with 😲 so it will be a herculean task but I am prepared...I am very prepared 😈...to do the unlikely (since it is not impossible 😆) and record my findings. Right, before I digress further I will return to business!
In today's episode I felt like it's theme was goodbye/farewells of a sort. There was Amaya saying goodbye to her friends (Matthew spoke! 😲 Though I didn't like the way it was dubbed) and Rishi starting to say his farewell to his family. That upset me but also made me slightly annoyed that his lack of foresight is going to break up his cute family. I like this family a lot Their scene waking up their mom was more natural than I have seen in other shows. So I'm glad I am sticking with it. As a result, I don't want them to break up. Why Rishi Why??????
Sneha's tension is very clear concerning Amaya and Rishi's behaviour. The stress of Rishi's face and the scene with him and the mirror was my favourite as you could see how he wordlessly went through each phase of tension. I don't like how he does not communicate with Sneha about his problems. He could use her practicality and they could help each other. I don't think his family have really high expectations of him, in fact he has created those expectations by creating a dream where he will get them what they want because he can, and they became barriers and now he is going to feel the consequences.
I guess he fixed the engagement so that Rachita will be secure after his company goes bust and of course to make her happy. He does stuff to make them happy but now it will lead to sadness.
They tried to include humour but for me the sadness took over too much. I definitely know Amaya is not going to get a classy jet setter type boyfriend who is like her. They'll probably use the opposite attracts formula here. (Psst...don't tell me who she ends up with. I haven't got there yet.) I also have a feeling Rachita's engagement might have problems.
So a mixed bag today and I don't know what to feel, happy or sad. I'm a 'glass is half empty' type of person so I'm dreading what will happen to Rishi. It's not fair on Sneha and it's not fair on Amaya, Jazz, Rachita and Hari.
So I'll end there before I work myself up. I'll be back when I caught up with more episodes. I'll try to do more than one episode per post until I catch up else I'll be here forever and eat away at the thread. 😆
