Hi guys, as I'm a new member I can't post links, but check out rediff.com and go to saregamapa, click on participants and read Aneek's bio. One extract reads:

"Down the memory lane:
I remember two incidents vividly. First when I won the Saregamapa Bangla and secondly when I proposed to my gf"

If this is true, she must have said yes, for it to be a memorable moment for him. So what's the point of all the 'love triangle' publicity on the show?

Yep right people in this forum are OXFORD graduates...ANEEK is an exception.....

Man understand onething, bengal maybe laggin in other things, but the standard of education is still the best in the country....no donations colleges, no procuring certificates by paying, fabricatig resumes.......

And the thruth is, people hailing from Bengal, their English diction is noteworthy....pronounciations are clear....I am not talking about HINDI though....although a concerted effort is made to speak Hindi properly..

Well also here in India.. we use the term proposal very liberally.. Informing your girl friend that you are in love with her is called "Proposal"

For all your information, Aneek's a student of St. Xavier College - one of the best college in city. A person with 85-90% and above can only dream to study in that college. He must be intelligent too along with being talented. He is a gem.
