I still can't believe TWMR is a blockbuster. With Queen and now TWMR..I do agree and think that Kangana raced ahead of Deepika and is now the no. 1 actress. If we are talking about boxoffice and acting only. We all know Deepika is the more popular one but just looking at acting/performance and boxoffice...TWMR did way better thN Piku.

Yes I said we shouldn't compare a commercial film to Piku. But even a Barfi did better than a commercial film like Heroine. So there are instances when a not so commercial film does better than a commercial film.

@QueenExpression - Barfi and Heroine comparison are not same between Piku and TWMR as Heroine was a pathetic movie. Barfi had superhit songs, great performances, two big stars, a director with hit filmography..More over Barfi had a very interesting story
In Piku there was neither any song and dance sequence, nor emotional drama nor any action sequence to please masses. There is no such story over all. Its just few days from someone's REAL life which has been portrayed very beautifully. I don't remember last time when one such film did so well in BO...
On the other hand, TWMR was a dramatic comedy story tending to unnatural sometimes, chartbuster song and of course author baked characters played by Kangana..
Its not to take away anything from Kangana, she was mind-blowingly good as Kusum but Piku as a film is a cinematic gem and much better than TWMR
