Kabir, Overdoing it ? - Page 4

on topic, I agree with what @Mallika said on the earlier page. This is not just regarding how that Mahi case fleshed out or the aftermath of it. When in that episode last week, he turns back to glare when Manav hugs Ananya, the fangirl in me wanted it to be jealousy, may be it was such in some ways, but more than that, how he sees her being manipulated, and he probably cannot take it as to why she would allow it, when he has seen her otherwise in every other case they have worked. But what he doesn't realise is she needs her story on the screens, something Kabir denied her back then.
And with the Bhavna-Apurva case here, the professional and personal seems to have overlapped, for Ananya at least. She is going about her job, but Kabir's blunt ignorance towards her is affecting her personally as well. He is wanting her aggressive journalistic streak to come out, but instead that is eliciting diverse reactions from her and that is affecting her professional ability too.Although going by last night's ending, she seems to be getting back on track.
As for Kabir overdoing it,the way he is perceiving the situation in a one dimensional way, its clouding the other aspects he should usually consider as well. And his rivalry with Manav and Ananya's supposed 'teaming up' with Manav is what I think makes him lash out at her, what we saw in the precap.

<font color="#990066" face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">I can come up with only two reasons for Kabir's not-so-Kabir behaviour. And these have been mentioned on the forum before. One, Ananya affects him in ways he hasn't to terms with yet. And two, he is upset that even after that lecture he gave her follwing the Mahi fiasco, Ananya is still a little immature in her ways and is allowing Manav to manipulate her for his selfish reasons. It is either one of the two reasons or both. I am hoping both.😛</font>

I'm not liking the way kabir's treating ananya. Nor I encourage Manav's over anxious behaviour towards her. She's a individual, not a dead thing. She too have feelings. She don't deserve to be treated like the way both are doing. I find both boys, as wrong. Somewhere.

can any1 give written update for today 's episode because i missed it...

Remember the scene where Kabir recalls his ex-wife's words. She says that she is tired of living with a complex/complicated man like Kabir. Well we are getting a glimpse into the darker side of Kabir, his imperfections etc.

I actually see a silver lining here. Ananya is almost out of her hero-worship phase. Now when she falls in love with him, it's likely to be a relationship of equals.

I agree with @Let-it-go, that Kabir needs to act mature and take Ananya under his wings again. The outburst was not 'cause she contacted his source w/out his knowledge, but because he assumed that Ananya has teamed up with Manav and under Manav's instructions went ahead and did this. Whereas, the reality as known to us is that she merely followed her instincts as a journalist should. She also apologized the moment she realized that what she did was unprofessional.

Kabir has not liked the fact that Khalid invited Manav and gav him credit for having taken the Channel to No 1 ranking. He also clearly dislikes that Manav is using Ananya only to spite him and is showcasing this anger onto Ananya.

But what about his flirtatious ways with Malavika and Bhavana? 😃

Somewhere, Kabir is getting emotional with his collegues, which is best kept aside when it comes to work...

When the show started Ananya was supposed to be the impulsive and immature one, while Kabir was supposed to be the senior, mature and professional one. But off late its Ananya who is showing maturity,strength and preofessionalism beyond her years. She apologised immediately when Kabir accused her of using his sources, even when her intention was not to extract information. Yet Kabir made that jibe about ethics and integrity. He has been sulking like a child. His behaviour towards Ananya is bitter, immature and unprofessional. Anaya is completely right when she says that people in this office have fragile and weak egos. Infact all the seniors be it Khalid, Malvika, Kabir or Manav are engaged in battle of egos, superiority and one-upmanship. It was expected from other three, but not from Kabir. It is the so called junior reporters Ananya, Richa, Ananyas friend and that Video guy who are focussing on their work and trying to get the news rather than wasting their time in stupid rivalries. I know even now perhaps Kabir would be the one to get the breakthrough or solve the case, and we would all be... Wow Kabir is so sauve and smart and was playing all along, but all his sauveness and smartness cant excuse the way he has been treating Ananya. I love Kabir and perhaps why this unprofessional and immature side of him is irking me a lot. I hope either they rectify his behaviour towwards Ananya soon, or atleast give some explanation as to why he is treating her like this.
