Yes, each PH has a way to present shows but why do all the 5 shows from BT have to be the same. Let me give you an example..in kumkum bhagya, the hero is accused of getting another woman pregnant(which is untrue) and his marriage is in a mess, in Meri aashiqi the hero has accused the heroine of cheating him and going after other men when he himself is with another pregnant woman( and the child is not his) and iknmp also had similar tracks . And all the three serials have their own FL2 and FL3s in between the love birds.

It feels you are watching the same thing with different actors. It doesn't happen to such an extent with any other PH, be it rajan shahi or shashi sumeet.I am not saying they don't do all trp drama, but you can at least say that you are watching two different stories

The only thing in their favour is that BT shows have a lot of good looking, loyal and brilliant lead actors...and they seem to think that it is enough for a show.

My mother watches star plus from 9-10 pm. I saw the shows a few days back. The 9 pm show from shashi summeet ph was showing how a kid is insecure about his father being a small sweet shop owner and how his mom explains him. The 9.30 show from rajan shahi was showing how a family where elders have a lot of differences between them behave normally for the sake of kids. And look here- two irresponsible parents paying no attention to their kids

I totally agree xyze!

Very true that BT has a very different approach to show and content than other PHs. But then people are liking it too (perhaps of the good looking and talented actors) despite the illogical tracks over and over again. Look at us, we still watch IKNMP so yes me guilty as charged 😆

Sorry, jokes apart, there is definitely scope for improvement. Especially about the parent-child track, it is a major disappointment we didn't get to see any of that yet. Every show has its share of free loaders and villains but some choose not to focus on that but go for a good story.

In one show, production of 4 Lions, the villain actually kills the lead pair, gets away with it, comes back as a lead role in the second season and rules the entire story and show ...

Like we said... It's all a matter of entertainment ;)

The only person to be blamed for Aarav's action is Aarav himself. Ragini always wanted her kids to study and come up well in life. But Aarav wanted the luxurious life. He fell in love with Shilpa and pushed studies aside. When Neil arrived, Aarav knew that he could get the luxurious life he wanted from his dad. Neil as a father only supported his son's wish of starting a business. However he never consulted Neil for funds and instead took a loan. Even when he could not pay back, he didn't approach either Neil or Ragini and he decides to take his own life and end up taking Shilpa whom he really loves. In a way, the makers are trying to show that parents always only want the best for their children and also support them but its in the hands of the children on how they want to shape their own future.

I agree...people do watch. I was trying to point out the lack of creativity from a PH that boasts of having the highest paid creative. And by giving examples of the two shows by other PHs, I was trying to show that positivity also works with the audience. These two have been top trp gainers so they must also be doing something right.
Why can't NB also try positivity for a change?? That is my problem.

BT has the best actors in the industry at their service...wish they had the guts to give them something new and better to perform.

You know my mom watched kyunki, kahani and kasauti from start to end. But she couldn't watch iknmp. She happened to watch that Neil FB epi and was like "I have seen all this, I already know the story. I can tell you, you don't need to watch". It is then I told her that I watch the show for leads and not the story.
My mom is one among the trp audience...and even her tastes have changed.
A good, mature story would always find an audience. In fact in today's times it would find a much larger audience than what NB gets now.

I completely understood. Like you pointed out, it is indeed a lack of creativity which is really sad because even the creatives earn lots of money with it.

Even I am sure that positivity will give the show, and not only this one but others too, a boost. The world is not made of problems only. And if some shows claim to be something to learn from, or have a (hidden) message, then they really are doing the wrong thing by focusing on the negativity.

@bold: Same here. Very rarely have I seen the combination of a good lead pair with an even better story. Most of the time, it starts of with in a grand way and ends up in the most disappointing way.

I haven't seen Bade Acche Lagte Hai, but that show was also about a mature couple. It was accepted and loved by the audience, however not sure if it could maintain its originality and maturity.
