I really like the role reversal being played out by Manan. Life really does come full circle. Everything that we give, we get back in spades.

I'd like to see the song 'Teri Meri Baatein' from Piku being played on Manan. It's been one awesome journey 😊

Hey thanks, Spero! I finally managed to check out this song since you mentioned it here and these lines are lovely! Totally do indeed suit MaNan...someone should vid them on this...maybe I will if I have some time :)

It would be nice to see Manik singing this song for Nandu too...incase the writers want to choose a non-melodramatic song😆


Nice point about the "I need a hug" being kinda like "I need a break" b/w them...actually now that you mention it, I'm reminded of the courthouse scene, where Nandu asks Manik to hold her just before he's heading inside the room cuz she needs that strength and reassurance as her own is failing her for a bit and the contentment on her face once he folds her into the hug...seems like a parallel to the precap scene now when I think about it in some ways.


And yes, they are a beautiful example of life coming full circle...as you said, Nandu is getting back in spades, all she gave so selflessly and compassionately to Manik over and over again...is now coming back to her in the form of this Manik standing by her, with her, for her like a rock.

Such lovely, tender scene!!! Yes, Manik does NEED that HUG. He cannot function, w/o Nandini's smile and touch!!! Poor chap, how hard he must have been coping the whole day. And as we all know, Nandini is the stronger one, compared to the 2. A well NEEDED HUG that was and once again, sincere appreciation to the CVs, for portraying such small but important gestures in day to day life, in such a beautiful way!!

Beautiful Post, AY!!! All the great scenes in 1 post, and that too with gifs. I am sure most of these scenes would be watched repeatedly.

And it wasn't rambling at all, let alone being long!!! Was such a treat to read and gush about it all over again.

Manik has always been the kind to go the distance for his friends too...but yes I do feel that this is the first time he's shown the extent to which he can do anything...be it in silliness or patience/understanding that he can go the distance for someone...and that someone is only Nandini.


I like how even his pride in her doesn't feel contrived or cheesy when he says it like that...it feels like such a genuine thing...his admiration of her...she really is a marvel to him...


Yes, Nandini is and always has been the stronger one b/w them and it is her strength that actually sustains both of them...it shows even now in the fact that even as she battles such demons inside her, she has the strength and compassion inside her somewhere to reach out to him every time he needs her...whether it is through asking for a hug directly here or it is through the sadness in his eyes at not being able to heal her pain...Nandini is his anchor and she very well knows that responsibility...it really touches your heart that even as she struggles with her own trauma, she tries to fulfill that responsibility...oh these kids.

Yes his faith in her is rock solid now...he knows she will ultimately win over this and shine brighter than ever...it's a matter of time, persistence and patience though...depending on writers ka mood😆

Good points on the other nuances too...yes, Nandini's fragmentation came bit by bit...she was still holding herself a bit together at the police station when Cabir hugged her but later on things started hitting home and yeah she jerked away from Navya too...the ghosts of her experience haunt her...and memories and nightmares never flow smoothly...you have no control over the when of them...they will haunt you as they please.


Yes Mukti's scene with Harshad was very good too...all characters were on point this week...

He has always been someone who communicated through touch and words have always been her forte. During the staircase scene he asked her to touch her heart when he spoke the words. During the shadow scene he had no qualms in placing his hands on her heart. But now he knows she lost and shattered and his touch will not be reciprocated the same way. Loved his understanding and their role reversal here.

He let her know that he understands her need for space, but staying away from and letting her go was not an option for him. He told her that he will wait for her to recover, let go of those haunting memories and he will stick around her so that she can reach out to him.

Also loved the pinky locking scene. She knew that he was doing all this for her. But she lost and exhausted to reach out him. But when she saw his smile dim, she pulled up the remains of her strength and made a promise to him. Told him in that she is still there and she will reach out to him soon. That little step she took towards him, gave him hope. All he has to do now is shine for her and let his light touch her, so that she can get back her shine.

The slap scene was ultimate!! Never thought that slaps would give me feels too. Loved how he told her that she is still there and not completely lost. Her strength, her spirit which made her so special are still a part of her and all she has to do is accept it and embrace it. When she sees her reflection in his eyes she will realize how truly beautiful and strong she is.

Hope we continue to get more Manik- Rishab and Manik- Chacha scenes too!!!

All I could see in this week was growth in Manik individually and MaNan as a unit.

Ye pyaar nahi hai and it's not love only tender and care to I LOVE YOU. That declaration and reaffirming of his feelings. I prefer this over their confession. He is ready to shout his feeling to the whole world. Everything except Nandini ceases to exist for Manik. A Complete goner.

From her being his star to him the one pulling her out of darkness.

Oo how can I forgot the slap. I have been seeing it in loop. See why it was incorporated to snap Nandini out of darkness and to show Nandini's fighting spirit. These are the scenes which make MaNan and KY2 stand out.

Precap again ❤️. Nandini will and always be Manik's strength, his shining star.

Anu all these scenes had substance and progression. That essence, earnestness and charm of MaNan are well in tact in these scenes. These scenes were adding to their journey, well blend with the story line making me fall for them all over again.

Again Parth and Niti being phenomenal. Their expression, those transitions, the nuances, the subtle changes were fabulous.👏

3 week of great episodes hope they keep up the momentum.

My favorite bit was That hand moment when Nandini who just couldn't see his disappointment, gathered all courage to fight her Fear and give him Hope...WAO moment

All I can say..I love Manan but main credit goes to both pani who actually live their character with such finesse that you sink with their pain too...And this director has really creative way of visualizing and depicting those subtle emotions through those hand moments..beautiful indeed

haha I couldn't make a post earlier in the week cuz I got to watching the epis kinda late...pehle I thought I'll just wait for the HQ cuz WU was ok types to me...lol...but then 3 days nikal gaye and no HQ and the Wed/Thurs scenes sounded good so I wanted to watch...uske baad bhi I didn't get the time to talk about the epis as much cuz I was busy...finally after managing to watch on Friday and having the HQ vids also, I could gif and blab aaraaam se😆


The hand/finger locking moment really was very touching...it's hard to pick a fav cuz there were many substance-filled MaNan scenes this week...most of the scenes had either a nuance or some dialogue that stays with you after watching also...but my fav. scene has to be the slap one...lol I have a soft corner for their punches/slaps😆


But I totallyyy agreee about PaNi...they've been acing it for a third straight week...the way they uninhibitedly live their characters is truly something and yes the director is doing a fine job too...some technicalities can be improved on in terms of lighting but otherwise I do like this director's work.

So true even after the confession..MaNan scenes are still worth watching...infact even after the confession am still longing to see nandu's confession ..otherwise as u said in most of the shows..its downhill soon after the confession..due to kidnapping track we got to see some really good performances from MaNan.

all the the scenes u listed out were superb...especially the SLAP one..ye tho MaNan ka signature style ho gaya hai..it was so natural..so real..😳..niti was brilliant in showcasing the terror..the way she was reacting to manik's touch ..we could actually feel what nandu is going thru..and yes uff i loved when manik said "that's my girl"..

and i thoroughly enjoyed how manik was telling chacha abt his nandu...loved his confidence there...this is like manik in his true element... and not to forget "choosing the right path" 🤣

and yea the head shake bit in the first scene u posted...it reminded me of his solo dance with jacket...😆

Yeah watch the precap again...it's really poignant...the way he asks for the hug and then the relief on his face.


It's always a challenge to keep interest going post the confession epis and even now there is a limit to which they can milk this Nandu ka trauma track for the emotional impact...they shouldn't drag it too much else it will feel contrived.
