Ayesha Takia and Akshay Kumar in a supernatural thriller

Ayesha Takia and Akshay Kumar are set to come together for a supernatural thriller to be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.

The movie, titled Tasveer , will be made under the banner of Percept Picture Company. It is learnt to be roughly based on Manoj Night Shyamalan's Oscar-nominated movie 'The Sixth Sense'.

Confirming that she is doing the film, Ayesha says she is very much looking forward to work with Nagesh Kukunoor once again after Dor , which got her many rave reviews for her acting.

Incidentally Ayesha was also offered Kukunoor's Aashayein but she turned down the offer because she was required to kiss her co-star John Abraham in one scene in the film.

Talking about 'Tasveer', Ayesha does concede that it is loosely inspired from 'The Sixth Sense' but she asserts that the story and its treatment will be altered to suit Indian tastes.

Ayesha also reveals that she plays Akshay Kumar's wife in the film. She is super-excited at the prospect of working with Akshay.
