KV was unhappy yes, but he was on board for S3 and was excited about it. VT was chosen and confirmed even while KVB was promoting S3. Makers were not prepared for his leaving and they were scurrying around, you see it in the episodes themselves how they tried to first see if they could go on without him.

Saying it's just due to a weak actor is not right either. CVs are at fault too and it shouldn't be put on acting alone. VT can hardly be totally judged when there's only so much he can do when direction and script also say something else than what his actions say.

There is no point in trying to give the CVs some genius marks for mess they've written of Shaad. the fault was firstly in the writing and execution/portrayal of Shaad. Shaad is a disaster and there's very little writers can do to correct it. Sorry to be blunt, but that's the truth. He will continue to be the mess he is.

Shaad is now nothing else but a tool.

Some of us did speculate when we heard the word "Love triangle" if they were trying to do RAHAFA and another Faiz? Almost no one wanted that! But even though he is not Faiz, he is actually coming across unbalanced and stupid almost now. His behavior is not that of a sharp army officer who thinks on his feet. He is acting like a damned fool, and that is one of the reasons people cant relate to him! That stoic thing he had for about 1 week is gone, and now he is some Pagal Majanu type, who is not even using 1/4 of his brain! He honestly thinks he can keep playing this game? It's a joke, and HE is starting to look like a joke too.

So I agree with KK, now Shaad is a disaster. They have made him so wishy washy and so directionless that no one knows what he is doing anymore. Other than his obsession to keep this girl with him somehow, you cant see ANY other facet to his personality anymore. He has become two dimensional. Some sort of caricature. When the writing and direction is SO bad for his character, exactly how can we expect HIM to do justice to it? He also has to work within what is given to him and what is given to him is pathetic. Dumb lines, stupid premise. Just how is HE supposed to do justice to it?

Even brand new actors like SS did justice to their scenes coz his stuff was GOOD! Rehan was a very well thought out brilliantly executed character. The love triangle of SAHIL and Rehan was superb from start to finish and we all loved it. What was not to love? The direction was clear. Rehan had his grey shades but he was always so steadfast in what he wanted, and what he didnt want! So we could respect him. Shaad however is not someone people can respect coz he has not done ONE thing worthy of respect to date, accept saving this girl from a Mob! From that moment onward, everything that has happened to her is HIS fault! But for some reason he is TOO dumb to see it! He thinks HE is "protecting" her when it is HIM that is getting her more and more into trouble! HE is the problem! But he's too blind and stupid to see it! So yes, the writers and the makers have messed him up good. I dont think they can do much with him now other than turn him into a more pathetic caricature!

Most of the scenes are badly written...Akash just joined the cast...and he had to work with a weak script too..and he did full justice to it.😊

As for connecting to Jin-naat? Not a chance! They ruined her totally by giving her a "personality transplant" along with memory loss. Someone said weeks ago, this is "Memory loss", not "Punar Janam!" They were right! They went TOO far and made her so un-relatable and such a dud bimbo type, that people who liked the smart and sassy Sanam, the quiet and dignified Sanam, were just plain dismayed!

As for those who "Like" this OTT Vapid character? Dont know what they want in a Heroine, but I most certainly dont want this! She is not like Zoya to me. She had her own charm. Becoming someone's clone does not make a person charming. Only boring and stupid looking. THAT is what Jannat is to me. Clingy, pathetic, stupid and boring! Non of which SANAM was! They cant bring her back fast enough for me. I am fed up of this Dumbo. Combine her with SAAD and you have a full on "loser" combination.

Yes Akash has done justice to his scenes, even with weak writing!

Hmm...

When I watch QH, I don't look for logic in the numbers or details...that is not very important to me, though I'd appreciate if the Cvs learned to think like normal human beings and learned Maths and simple logical things. But so long as I get an idea of the character and his reasoning, I am fine... except for RaHaFa which was plain butchering my time and a training experience in using the remote.😡

So I battled with this concept called Shaad.🥱

I know two other complicated love stories currently airing.

NAUC- One brother is a complication in the other brother's love story. And this complicated bro feels he has every right to get the girl because the girl had first fallen for him, and he had rejected her...Now he wants her back. I can read the guy- He wants a second chance- He needs to learn the bitter truth that life doesn't always give U second chances.

MATSH- This is the best written triangle in the recent TV history. The complication here is beautifully written. I can laugh with him and feel for him, while feeling for the true couple sincerely...I hope he doesn't get more complicated than this- and it is unlikely by the look of it.

Then comes Shaad. Neither here nor there..Still.

His best scene was his entry...and until the time he started feeling for the girl and started making up stories for questionable reasons. I also enjoyed the Snake Bite scene and the declaration of Love.

But this is not what I expected of him.

Did I expect him to return Jannat home?- No.

I simply wanted him to try and reach a blind end...and let her live as his wife because he had no option, plus he started loving her.

But that did not happen.

Instead, he started behaving like a boy who got a puppy and wanted to spend all his time with it. He started making up more and more lies and started enjoying the intimacy with this object of affection...That made him look bad.

Then came the recent F32 IV where they said Shaad was written complicated...and I wondered if they had written him at all...Because the version I got was neither here , nor there.

Then I asked the Q- Why? Why is he written like this?

Many people felt it is to keep the FL pure...so they don't have to show her developing feelings for another man...She simply was not given a choice...

CHOICE!

Why not?

Why was she not given a choice? That would have made her look much better too.

My mind wandered on and I wondered where this would get Sahil.

At the end of some turbulent tracks, I suppose Sahil will be standing together- with Jannat probably still married' to Shaad...

And then...

WOULD HE NOT ASK THIS QUESTION?- How can U love another man's wife?-

Would he not ask this to Ahil???

Then probably it'd strike Shaad- How could he love another man's wife? How could he take what was another man's?

...You shall not covet your neighbour's wife...

This may or may not be...but I'd like to believe it'd be. (From a team that can't explain why Saif sweated seeing Chudail in the privacy of the bathroom when he had already slept with her a week or two back and paid for him to get there...and developed amnesia to ask what she was up to, when there was none but the two of them locked up in a room...Yeah...Because this is the only way it makes sense to me.)

But if it is to be this complicated, I wish it was a more seasoned actor playing Shaad. There is something lacking in his scenes...which I did not find with Rehaan or Faiz or even Saif.(Varun better take his director's advice seriously..He looks more like a kid than a 30 year old Army Officer. May be this is the version of a love struck 30 year old they want to show.😕)

Anyway, prepared to see more hugs and face cuppings and kisses and may be...even a wedding.😆
