No. This is not a Shaad bashing post. I know- That probably makes few people interested...which is fine. I need an outlet for my ideas.😊

Hmm...

When I watch QH, I don't look for logic in the numbers or details...that is not very important to me, though I'd appreciate if the Cvs learned to think like normal human beings and learned Maths and simple logical things. But so long as I get an idea of the character and his reasoning, I am fine... except for RaHaFa which was plain butchering my time and a training experience in using the remote.😡

So I battled with this concept called Shaad.🥱

I know two other complicated love stories currently airing.

NAUC- One brother is a complication in the other brother's love story. And this complicated bro feels he has every right to get the girl because the girl had first fallen for him, and he had rejected her...Now he wants her back. I can read the guy- He wants a second chance- He needs to learn the bitter truth that life doesn't always give U second chances.

MATSH- This is the best written triangle in the recent TV history. The complication here is beautifully written. I can laugh with him and feel for him, while feeling for the true couple sincerely...I hope he doesn't get more complicated than this- and it is unlikely by the look of it.

Then comes Shaad. Neither here nor there..Still.

His best scene was his entry...and until the time he started feeling for the girl and started making up stories for questionable reasons. I also enjoyed the Snake Bite scene and the declaration of Love.

But this is not what I expected of him.

Did I expect him to return Jannat home?- No.

I simply wanted him to try and reach a blind end...and let her live as his wife because he had no option, plus he started loving her.

But that did not happen.

Instead, he started behaving like a boy who got a puppy and wanted to spend all his time with it. He started making up more and more lies and started enjoying the intimacy with this object of affection...That made him look bad.

Then came the recent F32 IV where they said Shaad was written complicated...and I wondered if they had written him at all...Because the version I got was neither here , nor there.

Then I asked the Q- Why? Why is he written like this?

Many people felt it is to keep the FL pure...so they don't have to show her developing feelings for another man...She simply was not given a choice...

CHOICE!

Why not?

Why was she not given a choice? That would have made her look much better too.

My mind wandered on and I wondered where this would get Sahil.

At the end of some turbulent tracks, I suppose Sahil will be standing together- with Jannat probably still married' to Shaad...

And then...

WOULD HE NOT ASK THIS QUESTION?- How can U love another man's wife?-

Would he not ask this to Ahil???

Then probably it'd strike Shaad- How could he love another man's wife? How could he take what was another man's?

...You shall not covet your neighbour's wife...

This may or may not be...but I'd like to believe it'd be. (From a team that can't explain why Saif sweated seeing Chudail in the privacy of the bathroom when he had already slept with her a week or two back and paid for him to get there...and developed amnesia to ask what she was up to, when there was none but the two of them locked up in a room...Yeah...Because this is the only way it makes sense to me.)

But if it is to be this complicated, I wish it was a more seasoned actor playing Shaad. There is something lacking in his scenes...which I did not find with Rehaan or Faiz or even Saif.(Varun better take his director's advice seriously..He looks more like a kid than a 30 year old Army Officer. May be this is the version of a love struck 30 year old they want to show.😕)

Anyway, prepared to see more hugs and face cuppings and kisses and may be...even a wedding.😆

Soup m aorry dint get, did u want to say that Shaad's character has been written ( or well not thought about writing in detail) so as he can qs himself that why has he fallen in love with someone else's wife??

Soup, I think the real reason is that cvs mistakenly believe that it is better story wise (however twisted it might be the way they are going about it) if Sanam is not shown to develop feelings for another man since the story is supposed to be about Sahil...

Since u mention NAUC... Something hit me the other day, as I was rewatching QH2... Idk if u remember but there was a scene where MV aka Kabir from NAUC came to QH for some promotional purpose... In that scene Aahil challenges n mocks the concept of love and Raj (his character from APHG) gives back n tells Aahil that he better learn to lose 😉😆 The first time I was too busy anticipating the next SaHil scene so I completely overlooked it but this time, I actually rewinded and watched that scene! It was so amazing 👏 The amused n arrogant expression Aahil gave versus Raj's determination n suppressed anger... Two great actors in one frame! (It also showed how well the show was shot those days, even a promotional segment was shot so well! I love the smile Raj gives to Sanam as she secretly gives him a thumbs up, almost like he knows a love story will soon begin! It was so cute!) I never really saw MV's acting but in that one scene, the little battle between them, the expressions and how they face each other had something extra special! Something I found missing in QH2 with respect to having two great actors face to face! Season 1 had that when VM came into the picture but season 2, other than KV only Punit impressed me and they had no such scenes together! But anyway the point is that maybe if Shaad was played by a seasoned actor I might have waited for them to have those intense scenes! I usually love when two men have the dangerous, sarcastic and intense conversation, esp two top notch performers! But in this case, its such a badly written character that I cant relate to it period! Anyway I diverted from your topic, but what I will say is that no matter what I cant connect to Shaad at all and I dont mind triangles either! In fact, I cheer on the man whom I find to be more worthy of the girl, given she has a choice, even if he is not the ML! But Shaad makes no sense to me lol Still this was a good post Soup ⭐️ I love how u try to put things into perspective, while I may not agree, I really appreciate these posts 🤗

Like you say, to keep the FL pure.

(though I don't know how a multiple personality disorder syndrome like personality change given to Sanam as a result of amnesia resulting in lose of common sense and thus offering advances to the fraud who claims to be her husband...is pure in anyway as far as Sahil love is concerned which is their souls are supposed to recognize..???)

And the simple fact is to keep Sahil fans trolled and still reeled into watching the show, as still technically Sanam is being fooled into being close to this man so Sahil shippers can console themselves that Sahil is still pure and all that jazz...

I really don't care what they think they are delivering here...but what they ARE delivering here to the audiance is down right criminal...

In my book having Sanam develop feelings to another man while she has amnesia is way better than being shown a woman violated and molested on prime time telly packaged as the love story of a clueless guy desperately in "love".

Sorry just can't take this anymore...I really quit...I thought I could ignore the fact that that woman is getting violated and molested in the guise of a love story but I can't...I just CAN'T

Compared to this I can take Sanam2 and Ahil for however long they have it planned,,...but THIS...this sick premise I can't take...

Exactly what i feel.
.VT as shaad is poor in terms of acting so his character being a bit complicated combined with not so gud acting skills and on top of it jannat believing him lik a fool is plainly irritating and nothing else just like Rahafa

yes also witch winning everytime is also irritating but atleast i am glad that aahil is sensible to not fall for her lies and from the very start he was suspicious about her...keeping her in the house was pure majboori for him and now he knows the child that she is carrying is definitely not hers but yes the twist that they showed today...LAMEST EVER !!!
i wont even go into discussing that ...and i am now no more keen to watch qh for any logic...just waiting for some gud show to air at that timeslot in any channel so that i can switch over to that

Though they havent messed aahil and kv is fabuuulous but still honestly there are only few moments that i enjoy these days
...and those scenes are those of khala...she is aamazinggg.

kv is fab but alone how can he hold the audience for long

The current question i have is i can see the new entry is purposeful...ahil knows that sanam2 isnt normal but how to kill her obviously onlu her mother must know...hmmm...WAIT WAIT NOOO ...what am i doing expecting logic ?? inka bas chale toh sanaam 2 ke haatho uski maa ko bhi marwade...bakwaas...sry chicksoup but show has already fallen into a pit from where it can never comeout


From last 6 months nothing gud they have done so why expect now???


Nauc and Matsh are faaar better shows and yes matsh currently has the best love triangle

Pity for me I dont watch NAUC or MATSH, and Meri Aashaqui only coz it is an Ekta show and I dont watch EK shows on principle, coz I have heard how she likes to get the leads married 5 times over and over. Not interested. Looks like Gul also likes to do that now. She didnt do it in IPK, but in QH, she got Zoya married twice, Haya married twice, Aahil con married and now Sanam as Jinnat "fake married". So looks like in QH she is also living her twisted Kekta fantacies.
