| Karan Singh's (Sharad of Kasautii Zindagii Kay) romance with longtime girlfriend, Barkha Bisht is well known. But recently, the actor has been in the news for getting cosy with his Kasautii co-star, Jennifer (Sneha). Car pals
"The two are often seen together, even after shoots. In fact, these days they come in one car and go back together too. He has a girlfriend, but I am sure that doesn't stop him from getting close to someone else," revealed a source on the show.
When contacted, Karan laughed it off and said, "I am great friends with Jenny. In fact, she and Barkha are very good friends. All this talk about me getting close to her is rubbish. I share a more comfortable equation with her knowing her easygoing relationship with Barkha."
But what about the cars ride that they share? "Yes, it is true that we go back in the same car sometimes. However, the ride ends at the toll naka; that is where she drops me off, so I don't have to walk the distance. I can't believe people speculate and read so much into such simple things." The actor states that his relationship with Barkha hasn't changed a bit, and good news is around the corner for both of them.
"Barkha is very much the love of my life. Just a few days ago, our parents started talking, and I hope and pray everything falls into place. Marriage is something both of us are looking forward to, but there is no need to rush into it." Strong faith
Apart from Kasautii, Karan also plays one of the leads in Karbon Kopy.
When we contacted Barkha to check if she had heard about her boyfriend's close proximity with Jennifer, she said, "Karan is too sweet and simple to do something like this.
Usually, I go and pick him up from the sets, but I know he travels with Jenny, sometimes. I don't think that should be an issue at all, since I know her well."
What does she think about settling down and marriage with Karan? "I think it's too early to tie the knot, but yes, our parents are talking and I think it is a good start to the process. Also this talk about Karan and Jenny is baseless and made up by someone." tushar.joshi@mid-day.com |
