QH is really not that much my thing! But have watched the show over the years. Liked ASYA, liked SAHIL, even SEHAN! I have no allegiance to any pairings. So quite impartial and observe things without any attachement!

I feel the Pakistan story was very badly written, and just did not connect well with General audience! I feel that is why they have ended it. Also, how much longer could they show it? It was not going anywhere fast! The depiction of an Army officer in this manner is also a poor choice. Other than save that girl from a mob, most decisions made by him were in his favor! Even now he is fooling her!

I agree with one comment he does not know she is married for sure! But from what I recall, in some episode she mentioned something about a "husband being in danger?". I only watched some episodes in this track, but I remember that one! I think anyone can figure out she is most probably married! Especially because of how willing she was to accept someone was her husband! On that score, this story is quite irresponsible! They should not have shown an army officer breaking law like this, keeping someone illegally in his house, that he suspects to be an Indian?

I didnt see the last episode, but from the post I understand his whole family is now dead and he brought the girl to India as well? One good thing I guess. But how they intend to move this story with a real husband and a false husband side by side? Not sure. But showing this person have no guilt about what he is doing, calling a stranger his wife? Not impressed at all. The makers of this show don't seem to know the difference between right and wrong! The other stuff going on in the story? Not that interested in it! May consider watch next week to see if something interesting does happen!

I know it's only a small point of your overall post. But you know, it doesn't even matter. Whether or not he knows she has a husband, it doesn't matter. What he is doing is very much violative and taking advantage of woman mentally and physically.

First of all, Yay! For the impending almost meeting of Aahil and Sanam.

There was a time when we were so frustrated when Aahil couldn't sense that his wife wasn't the woman avoiding his romantic overtures (Seher)...

Now the extrasensory perception is fully developed and she can't remember HIM! cruel ...

The stage is set in McLeod ganj and it looks beautiful from the Insta posts we've been getting! They wouldn't spend and shift everyone out there if something momentous is not about to happen... *excited*

He's fallen in love with a girl who doesn't exist.
Jannat is like clear water, molding herself to whatever mold Shaad put her in.

Because he said he is her husband, she behaves as such. If he hadn't, she would've been different.

Shaad is like a child, who found a pretty doll alone in the park, brought her back and kept her, changed the way she looked and gave her a different story about herself.

Enjoying the pretty doll, at the same time feeling a tinge of guilt because he just took her, without checking if someone came looking for her.

He doesn't realize she is much loved and treasured by the person who accidentally lost her.

So who deserves the pretty doll now?

I wish they'd let the doll choose. Thankfully Jannat/Sanam isn't a doll and she can understand, speak and make her own choice.

And what he's doing--treating her as some doll and that too a woman who's akin to a woman who's out of her senses--is no small matter. He's taking all kinds of liberties, constantly and consistently lying to her, and behaving in ways that she is only allowing him to do so because she thinks he's her husband.

Even if he were not taking liberties with her physically and lying to her about being her husband, any man going around keeping a woman like a doll as he's doing--society deems those actions as those of either depraved or mentally imbalanced persons.

Add to that, he is lying to her, going on with this lie and having no qualms or problems in continuing to act as her husband. He has no thought process or worry or acknowledgement of his actions. He acts as though he really is her husband.

What Shaad is doing to Sanam is akin to a man coming across/finding a roofied woman and taking advantage of it/her. (What those drugs do is not always knock someone out, they have other effects which cause one to behave differently--and then afterwards have no recollection) Taking advantage doesn't only include sexual intercourse. Not everything is about sex, a woman can still be violated and feel violated even if there is no sex. And not only that, a man who wants to keep a woman in his life as his creation, some doll--even if it's completely asexual--it is still a gross violation, kidnapping and much more and worse.

And here, he is behaving and taking liberties with for which she has not given any consent for. She is doing so because of her state of being and due to his lie and con (and continued lies and cons and lack of clarification).

But I incline to agree that this whole thing is very wrong, and they should show that it is, instead of acting like it's not! But I think general audience can see through it! That is why this track failed! I am not someone who watch shows for couples! So I can vouch, I don't find this acceptable at all, and I am sure most of the audience feel the same!

I do feel very strongly about this. We have said again and again and criticized not only his actions but the portrayal and execution of his actions. They are not acknowledged either by himself or the narrative. And it is utterly frustrating. It has been two months now, and we have been yelling and screaming about this for almost as long.

This is no small matter. This sets a precedence, and it is utterly harmful such things just shown as lightly, romanticized, not ever acknowledged but rather shown as something that just is... This is not even about any couple for me. I truly cannot enjoy a show which continues to do this. It is not a one off thing. It's started and continued to go on and just become worse in these two months.

This portrayal and execution is completely irresponsible and it is no small matter. And it just continues on and on, with no change...
