This post is especially for Shyamala, Arshi, Shruthiravi, Khota Sikka Shreya, Appukrish, Veritaserum, Seedhibaat, Sandhya_A, Swetha, Kitsin, Arijit, Khushi, Mishti Doi et al...👏👏
(please pardon me if I have inadvertently missed out some regular writers - all are included in this thanks-giving post)

Kudos to all of you for taking out time to write such lovely analysis and predictions and thought provoking discussions (varying from mytho to filmi gyan😉 to philosophy to Scientology with much ease)

We have quite a learned group here - ready to share and learn mutually.

Also, i salute the patience of people like Shyamala who makes it a point to reply to each and every reply on her post. Amazing !!

great job guys... keep it up⭐️⭐️

Now to the topic.

All Said and done, even Babbal and Utkarsh wouldn't have written so much in the scenes, that which we are reading and also made to read through your posts. 😛 they are probably scratching their head somewhere and saying "Wow - so this is what we shot"

My dear Veritas,

What can I say but that I am touched and flattered? Thank you so very much. But my dear, how is it that you have never commented on any of my threads, nor even marked it with a Like?

Do make a beginning with my latest,

Mahakumbh 77-80: Distorting mirrors

https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/mahakumbh/4369902/mahakumbh-77-80-distorting-mirrors

and do let me hear from you thru your comments. From my next post, I will PM you without fail.

Shyamala B.Cowsik

Arshics and Shyamala. Have read your posts many times! Very insightful and full of in depth knowledge! Appreciate your time spent on these topics! This is a very intellectual forum! Just the kind I like! :)

My very dear Alpana,

As I am too old to blush even at such extravagant compliments, I shall accept them with becoming gratitude and a big 🤗 to say thanks!

I don't know about my being learned, but the fact is that I enjoy writing and then inflicting my analyses on my long-suffering readers😉. As for replying to individual comments individually, I have always tried to do, for I feel that if someone takes the trouble to write in on my threads, he or she deserves the courtesy of a separate reply, even if it is a few days late!

I feel very comfortable in this forum because it is mostly made up of intelligent and perceptive members, and is not a fan club for one actor or the other, hell-bent on bulldozing any opinion that does not deify him or her.

Most important, we are all mature people, who can discuss at times drastically different takes on episodes or scenes in a civilised manner. This last, I assure you, is very rare in the IF forums, even based on my rather limited experience of them. So I have reason to be grateful for this group here.

As for Utkarsh and Arvind Babbal, I am sure most weeks they are greatly amused at the very complicated inferences we draw from their script, which they probably never intended to convey. But then it is OUR script as well,is it not?

Thanks shyamala. Also have you started to watch Gulmohur grand ( a la Airlines) on Starr plus. It started today. Seems promising

No, my dear, I wanted to but I forgot about it . I will try and catch up with the repeat on Saturday next. But Airlines, for which, as you know, I wrote a few episode analyses, was such a flop that I am getting wary of such specialised serials!😉

At all events, I am not going to write analyses for it, and in fact, once Mahakumbh winds up, I am never going to get sucked into posting about any other serial. I started this one only because of Utkarsh, and now I cannot let go of it. It is getting to be like homework😉, though much more fun, of course, and is quite time consuming.

Thank you Alpana for such compliments. Just like Shymaladi I love to analyze and writing is my hobby. And with such nice readers there is always a motivation to right more. Many people bring varied insights making you realize knowledge is a vast ocean. How much ever you take it, it is still 1% only😃

Shyamala Akka has got amazing style of writing with so much knowledge. This kind of analysis is very very rare - That's why I frequent/stalk/troll her other threads as well.
She should seriously try analyzing movies - I want her to do an analysis of upcoming PK moive.
Akka - pls - This is Juhi Chturvedi a female scriptwriter and you will do complete justice to the story and script that seem to be a very funny topic of constipation.

This is all incredibly flattering, but Sri, you mischievous wretch, whatever will you think up next?

As for Piku, while I adore Amitabh Bachchan and like Deepika too a lot, I will not be able to see Piku in the theatres as I never leave my mother, who is a serious cardiac patient, alone for hours at a time. Even otherwise, with my kaput knee, how can I sit in a movie hall chair for 3 hours? I have to get up and hobble around after just 15 minutes of sitting and typing.

So, I shall be able to see the film only when it comes in the Tatasky Showcase, and I must also tell you that I did not like the theme of Vicky Donor and did not watch it, and this one sounds off putting as well. I detest toilet humour, even from a Kamalahaasan.

So it does not, my dear girl, sound too promising, but I will try it, just for you, whenever it turns up on Showcase.
