It's a Mirror

Hey guys!

My name is Ena, and i am new to the forum...and am loving the freshness of Dil Mil Gaye!!! The old Sanjivani comes on Star Utsav...so I watch that and I love that too! hehe

Ok, in relation to the title of this post..."mirror"...the whole track of Anjali and Ridhima, and how Anjali treats her little sister, reminds of this movie from the early nineties...(which my mummy dearest has seen countless times...so i pretty much now know all the dialogues! 😆😉)...anyway, that movie was called Aaina and it starred Amrita Singh, Juhi Chawla and Jackie Shroff.

Amrita Singh was the eldest, and always treated Juhi Chawla pretty badly,with the whole "little sister" thing.
The mother of them was always on Amrita's side...kind of like how the Nani is always on Anjali's side.
The father and Juhi Chawla had a special bond...and so do Shashank and Rids!
Amrita (Roma in the film) had this false belief that she was the best..😆 as does our Anjali!

So...hmm...you guys should watch that movie...it's pretty good, although a lot of the dialogues are outdated now...like the one where Juhi goes that my world "starts and ends with my husband"...😆

Oh and i seriously cannot see Rids being related to Anjali by blood...because, in the old Sanjivani, Anjali is 7/8 (and she's very sweet and cute...*sigh*) and Smriti is pregnant...So what happens to that baby?

Rids could be Padma's daughter...she could be an unwed mother and Shashank may have decided to raise Rids..or it could besome sort of problem...and Anjali may hate Rids because she might have felt that Rids was "taking over the house, it's MY house"...lol I don't know...

Oh and hey guys, in this thread...please please do not post any spoilers for the old Sanjivani! Pleeeeeaaaassseee 😳😳😳 😉

So that was a boring post..but i've just gotten up from bed😆! But Dil Mil Gaye is totally rocking! and it's so cute that Atul is Omi's son!! Omi was just like him! Well...funny...not the other stuff...lol, it sucks because in the old Sanjivani, Omi just dissappeared! :(:(

Enaaaa! 😃 Welcome to the forum. 😊 Ohh yeah I remember that movie. 😛 I've seen it. Yes , it is a bit similar in Riddz and Anji's case too. I'm not sure about Sanjeevani coz I haven't seen it, but I'm getting sure day by day that Anji's doesn't seem related to Riddz. She's always neglecting her and doesn't seem to care much about her.

Atul's Omi's son eh? Yeahh Atul's cutee and he brings comic relief to the show. 😳 😆 😆

From what I recall, Omi came back towards the end and got married to Chitra - a nurse/intern in Sanjivani. Omi came back as patient of AIDS , as far as I remember and Rahul-Juhi fought for him. I am not putting forward spoilers. So, that means Atul is Omi and Chitra's son? 😛

Nitica_82: oh so he does come back? damn it, he was the most fun one! why does he have to suffer from AIDS?! does he die in the show or do they just show him "dying"? LoL, Omi and Atul's "funniness" is diff. whilst Omi was "cool funny", Atul makes a fool of himself, but is still tres cute!

@Bewafa.... Yh its so true, nowadays its onyl saas bahu stories, or saving the country, playing for the country, love stories... and then we have Dill Mil Gaye with a twist abt 2 sisters! I personally dnt think Anjy is Ridz sister...

@Ena: Yesh I did. 😳 Lolz, yeahh. 😛 Yeah, but there's a some differences I noticed between the 2, maybe they aren't good enough to prove that they aren't sisters but still here's what I noticed:

- Angie calls Dr.Shashank 'dad', while Riddz calls him 'papa'. I'm not sure if that says something but that's another difference between them.

- Angie's always so rude and insensitive when it comes to Riddz for some reason. Like instead of supporting her own sister, she doesn't care and is actually with Armaan. What kind of sis is she.. or maybe afterall she isn't Riddz' sis at all.

- The head nurse Padma, is always overlooking at Riddz, and she knows that Riddz likes those laddoos that she gave her also do you remember when Angie had called Dr.Shashank 'Dad' in front of everyone they also showed Padma. 😕

I'm not sure if this means anything but that's what I think. 😳

It might also be possible that Angie knows that Riddz isn't her sis but Riddz doesn't and that's why Angie's so rude. 😳
