But this is just like what happened to Pyaar Ka Daar after 2 years + of successful run when they decided to separate the leads. Even after much protesting when the leads finally got back together, they had already lost so much TRP they just could not get back, and SP cancelled the show! That show had MUCH higher TRP than QH always! It was almost always in the Top 5! But even that show lasted barley 6 months after their "grand experiment". That too when the character of the new love interest for Aditya was played by the SAME actress! So that is a study in what happens to a show when you separate the leads! (Frankly that track was much better executed and not sick and twisted like the track of Jinnat and Saad).

This is proof that a few over excited fanbots can't keep a show running! For that you need the general audience to stay interested. Either they watch crap like SNS and SSK, or they watch shows like QH mostly coz they like the main leads! So if the leads are no longer together, then the show loses it's charm and people lose interest! Especially now with post IPL, to get the eyeballs back they need to get the main leads back in one frame. Nothing else will work for this show now!
