People's Expectations From TWMR Making Me Nervous

Tanu Weds Manu' was a runaway success; no wonder its sequel Tanu Weds Manu Returns' is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of this year. However, with less than a month to go for the release of the film, R. Madhavan is scared of viewers' expectations.

At a book launch, R. Madhavan said: "I am scared now. My neighbours asked me if Tanu Weds Manu Returns' is releasing next week. They felt it is releasing soon because of all the publicity. I told them it will release on May 22."

He added: "So if people who do not watch movies, like my neighbours, are waiting for the release of Tanu Weds Manu Returns', it makes me really nervous."

However, R. Madhavan did vouch for the fact that the viewers won't be disappointed after watching the movie. "It is a great film and I am sure it will stand up to people's expectations," he said before signing off.

The film also features Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Shergill and Deepak Dobriyal, and has been directed by Anand L. Rai.
