What a convoluted tale is unravelling in Bhopal.
As the Begum victoriously coils herself around the seething Aahil, a new way to defeat her presents itself to him.
Begum's mother...
<I like the way Lateef still has some guts to thumb his/her nose at the Begum.>
Begum is shocked to see her mother. <A little like how Regina (the Evil Queen-Once upon a time) reacts when she sees her mother Cora...)

But she still has respect enough to call her Ammi...!
But that's all the respect she can afford. Begum is outraged that the mother dared to show her face here, after she has done so much for herself. Have you come to ruin this for me too???
"Ungrateful girl! Have you forgotten that I taught you everything that you know?"
<Gasp! the mother is a witch too??!>

Begum bundles the older woman out... You have no place here !! get Out!!
Before the old woman leaves, she spots a curious Aahil, who heard everything.
Uh oh, Begum has a story to hide...
Aahil appears outside to meet the older woman. So you are her mother? What secrets does she hide that makes her do this to her own mother??
The woman laughs... You think I will tell you the secrets that could kill my own daughter ?? Never...
<Interesting play at this relationship... they are at opposing ends, yet loyal to each other. Very much like Cora and Regina of OUAT. Very interesting. I bet the old woman is in disguise too, will suddenly turn up looking as awesome as her daughter in the next scene... If the writers want to proceed that is...>
Your daughter is already dead, says Aahil, Neither is she capable of loving anyone or being loved, or understanding the meaning of relationships. I have no attachment to her at all...

Then things got a little weird. Begum's mother tells Aahil that he can only win this murky dark war when he brings back his true love, and escapes far away from this darkness...
The Junoon here gives me goosebumps...but the taweez is missing !!

What does that mean !?!?
<Sounds crazy, I know. But so much is riding on that little taweez !!>
Elsewhere, Sanam escapes her captors and runs back the Shaad's house. And while hiding, she finds an unconscious real Misbah and screams loud enough to bring out the whole house, except Shaad.
Phupho finally reacts, distraught that her daughter is dead, even after she did exactly as she was told. Mr. Aftab, discovers what a huge deception was going on under his very patrician nose.
<Phupho was quite good , I must say!>
Sanam finds herself at gunpoint before Fake Misbah, to everyone's horror.
Precap: Shashi Kapoor reveals herself.
<I'm pretty sure Shaad is going to bring this party crashing down...>
But in Bhopal, some chemistry is cooking between Saif and the Begum. He looks quite enamored with her and wanting her instead of the meek Nazia. I am not a child!! he says, as she toys with him.
Go and get ready for your engagement this evening... I will pick your ring myself...

And Saif says... I will take the ring you chose and put it on your finger. I promise!
Uh oh... obsessed fan boy?
