Says Kritika Kamra, who rejected the script of the film for being too bold without knowing the movie's name.

Kritika Kamra's Reporters is raving because of its powerful storyline and unique concept. When the show was launched, it had created a rage with the kiss-promo that showed Rajeev, who is the lead protagonist, forcefully smooching Kritika. This was one of the boldest scenes that took place in the history of Indian television. However, the message that they intended to sent across was women shouldn't take things easily and slap a guy who is acting forceful on her.In between there were rumours that Kritika had rejected Hate Story 3 as the movie had some bold scenes. Speaking about the same, our source adds, "Kritika was approached for Hate Story 3 but this beautiful damsel turned down the movie as the script demanded too much of skin show. However, she has no qualms in smooching Rajeev Khandewal for a show."When quizzed Kritika about the same, she says, "I didn't know that I was offered Hate Story 3. I rejected the movie because of the script; I wasn't excited about the storyline. I got to know that some film required me to do some bold scenes that I wasn't confident about.Clarifying on her kiss with Rajeev for their current TV show, she says, "The kiss that I did for this show was required and it had a message that was put across in a very strong manner. This kiss was not sleazy. I watch several American shows on television and I don't need to seek permission from my parents to do a particular scene. I should be confident to portray a sensual character and the scene should serve the purpose. I will not do a bold scene just for the sake of it."
