After getting over how much I hated the wedding sequence, I liked Mihir-Rinki too, and I would have loved to see some semblance of progress between them before Mihika came back. I used to love Mihir-Mihika but now I just can't get over Maha Dumb Mihika. Here's my two sense about that odd odd "triangle."

Rinki is behaving a bit immaturely leaving in the middle of the night. She may be insecure about her place in Mihir's life, but she is showing that she was never mature enough for marriage. I empathize with her the most because the decision to marry him was put on her during a time of shock, but she needs to grow up.

Mihika is still meh. I understand her telling Rinki to trust Mihir, but she needs to give the couple a full break. Even though she's not actively intruding...she needs to back off and spend time on herself.

Mihir, my always sensitive & logical buddhu Ram, has become a bit aloof thanks to Mihika's reveal and work tensions. I understand Mihir feeling guilty, but for him to compare himself to Ashok, absolving Mihika of her role in this makes me *face palm.* He can't quit loving Mihika instantly, but he needs to talk to Rinki instead of avoiding the topic or getting drunk like Puttar.

Shagun - people hate her, but she's given some pretty logical dialogs. No matter the intention, Mihika did help catalyze the break 1 marriage, isn't making thing better for Rinki - Mihir, and was the cause of Shagun's return to Ishita & Raman's life.

At least they aren't stretching this too far...from the precap at least we see a confrontation where they are voicing their opinions. In the OLV, Simmi tells Ishita to talk to Rinki, but I think we need to see heart-to-hearts between (1) Mihir-Raman, (2) Rinki-Ishita, & (3) Mihika-Ishita.

If they are going to butt their noses in this trio's life...they need to talk to all of them and not expect Rinki to "understand," because if they do that...with Shagun meddling, who knows what kaands Rinki could do! 😆

The quote, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions," is all I can think of when it comes to Mihika, Ishita, passive senior Bhallas, & the formerly silent Puttar.

Woof, and that's my giant essay on the currently meh triangle of YHM! 😆

Firstly apolgies Krishy for changing the size of your font it was hard to read the size 😳

@underlined - totally with ya, sadly, I too believed with their inital scenes they can be a good pair but this just nosedived and the fact that Rinki is making all these decisions is showing her immaturity regarding a commitment like marriage and as you said its got to do a lot with her being forced to wed when she would have rather studied, I blame her mom - first she wanted her to marry despite Rinki protesting, now she wants her to have a baby like its instant coffee 😳 like hello you know how these two got married and you want them to have a baby, what if they decided they are incompatible in a year and file for divorce, which is a rampant thing in today' age...would you want another child to suffer from endless custody suits in your family and ok so Mihir doesnt put you and your family and his child to hell, should he have one with Rinki so soon, but what of the child when the parents seperate or worse stay together in a loveless marriage forever?

@bold - sigh if only wishes were horses communication would have solved so many things in a jiffy instead of letting them simmer and then boil over

@blue - yeah, finally Shagun is placing the blame where it belongs instead of going Ishita ne meri zindagi kharab kar di it was Mihika' bechari Shagun ko bachana hai andolan that got shit hitting the fan and for the first time Shagun is in the right 😳

@red - havent seen the OLV but yeah these people need to talk, like really talk even if they start doing so by yelling their throats hoarse.

@bold - thats the theme of the show sigh

And this isnt an essay by any standards Krishy dont worry 😆

Yep, that's why I hated the marriage sequence so much. We saw Ishita give a speech about how being left at the alter doesn't end life for an educate girl and then the next instance, "Rinki - can you trust me again to make 1 decision?" 🤢 The CVs lost some credibility for their characters with that sequence. For a while, Rinki acted mature, but this have just escalated this week. It makes sense for this trio's triangle to reach a peak as KP's wedding vacay is nearing.

I can still empathize with Rinki because at 23, I can't imagine being pushed into marriage like that. I don't feel mature enough for marriage right now, but she lacks that sense of introspection to realize

You are totally right...Toshiji needs to cool it. I understand why she's worried - one divorced son, one daughter with a child who will eventually go through a divorce, and then an impotent & kaand-completing son...what's a typical desi mother to do? Someone in this show needs to give her perspective. For a while I thought Mrs. Iyer could do that, but even Mrs. Iyer supports meddling in the lives of their children. Yeh maas, bhi naa...

@bold - sigh if only wishes were horses communication would have solved so many things in a jiffy instead of letting them simmer and then boil over Point! 😆

@blue - yeah, finally Shagun is placing the blame where it belongs instead of going Ishita ne meri zindagi kharab kar di it was Mihika' bechari Shagun ko bachana hai andolan that got shit hitting the fan and for the first time Shagun is in the right 😳 Shagun has had a few moments of logic...like when Sujataji staged the the stupid kidnapping...if I remember correctly she's the one who questioned the sanity of the entire situation. Of course, no one cares what she says because Shagun's the "mastermind" of the child swap. 😵

@red - havent seen the OLV but yeah these people need to talk, like really talk even if they start doing so by yelling their throats hoarse. I agree! I just don't want to see Mihir vs. Raman because of Rinki (and Shagun's meddling). The CVs already gave cringeworthy moments during the courtroom scene of the child swap track, where one of the core relationships of the show was "tested." Even though it's totally futile to say, for the love of all things good in the world, please don't test the only sane relationship left in the show!

@bold - thats the theme of the show sigh Yep! That and exes suck.

And this isnt an essay by any standards Krishy dont worry 😆 Thanks! 😳
