Part 1 :

my door knocked , it was 12:00 pm .I got up and opened the door . i found my lovely little 6 year old daughter shona standing in front of me with her fav teddy boozo she walked in the room and sat on the bed with a thud and asked me

shona - mom daddy kab aayenge ?

me - baby he'll be back soon i replied with a fake smile on my face and hugged her tightly

shona - i'm missing dady , can i talk to him mom ?

me - baby he must be busy .. i tried to call him and vo bole abhi meeting me he , and you know what * she sat on the bed and took her in her lap * vo bole ki meri princess ko bolna that papa is missing her

shona - sacchi

me - yes baby

* after an hour or so of questioning , she was finally in a deep sleep . i got up of the bed placing her aside , adjusted the pillow so that she doesn't fall and opened my cupboard and took out his picture ,my Virat ...it was our picture actually , our honeymoon. If he was here right now he would have teased me about how fat i am now... or something else

but alas ! he's not i haven't seen him in a month ... his 1 week long trip is now turned into a months long trip moreover no phone calls only i know how badly i miss my . my heart was paining from inside i wanted to cry but i couldn't , in case shona see's it ..where are you vickuu.. just one sign that you are ok .. please call me once ,1 call

this was my pray of every day i used to go to the bathroom and shed my tears over there ..but nothing . one day i received a call form some unknown no .

me - hello ..

the person (TP) - hello .. is this Avanti Thakur?

me - yes!

TP - ma'am your husband is in marksten hospital in America ,he has been admitted here from the last 2 weeks.. and is in danger , can you please come and meet him .. he might have only a few more days , he just received consciousness and signaled me to call you cause he still can't speak , after hearing this the phone from my hands dropped and i stood still there for i don't know how long ...the world stopped for me then and there

Janvi Depression loved the story I have read it so many times .. tu hai yaha i don't know only.. hayee vikku ki accdent 😭post all ur ff here..even the new one Feelings..

part 2 :

the world stopped then and there ..

after i was able to gain my strength back and realize what had happened , i quickly booked the ticket to the first plane to America which was 4 hrs from now, and started packing all my stuff and Virat's as well ,along with shona's stuff

then i went for a quick shopping and returned home with all the necessary things and packed them up as well

after a couple of hours i woke up shona and told her that we are going to meet dady ..the thought made her really happy

...i reached the airport and boarded the plane ... after a line journey we reached the American airport me boarded a taxi and reported the nearest hotel booked a room , yeh it did cost me a lot but that was ok i can spend my entire saving just to meet him one time ...well i had no emotions on my face it was blank ! i was still in the shock ...

i made shona comfortable in the hotel and left the room to see my Vickuu first

i goggled the hospital name and goggle maps helped me find my way in this strange place

After reaching the hospital main gate took a deep breath and stepped inside .. with all the courage i had' Virat Thakur ' I asked the receptionist ..

2nd room 3rd floor - she replied

i was finally standing outside his room ! knocked the door and it was opened within seconds

'Avanti Thakur ' the man asked ' yes that's me 'i replied ' well come-on in ' and i stepped inside slowly he was there lying straight with his eyes closed and head all stitched , one leg bandaged and unconscious ...' what happened ' i asked the man' well he was with me in a meeting and we are good friends , i assume he met with an accident cause i found his car lying upside down on the edge of the main road and him sitting indie it , then we landed up here .the doctors says he has got only a few days , he can gain his consciousness at any moment ...they say science can do nothing but miracles happen everywhere and i called you ,as soon as he signaled me may be you can make him alright

i shook my head in an OK and moved towards his bed! i put my palm on his checks and kissed his lips softly ,a tear rolled down through my eye

' Avanti ' someone whispered ...
