Here Chudail is clearly shown as the villain and vamp. Yes, Aahil is backed into a corner and doing these things--but it's portrayed as such. That's the difference. And he is still doing it with agency.

Unlike on the other side...is Shaad grey, ambiguous, villain, flawed, delusional, or a stand-up guy, or what? It's not clear. Jannat is not even backed into a corner, she has no clue. If it had happened with her knowing she had amnesia and knowing she wasn't married to Shaad, and had a moment with Shaad or asked him to tie up her blouse because she trusts him, I would not have complained. Instead she did it because she believed him to be her husband. She was operating on false information and acting according to that false information, and acting without agency.

See this is where we differ. I don't like EMA type of scenes overall especially in this case where the lead is backed into a corner and reluctantly going along with it. He'd rather be anywhere but here but because of circumstances he doesn't have a choice but to play along with her. I feel like doing this is trying to show tacky and romantic scenes with other people without ruining the leads and making them out to be cheats. It's like going halfway. It's the same with Shajan, they gave her a "bhoolne ki bimari" so she could romance Shaad without being held accountable for it. I can't help but find it all tacky and forced and a very weird fetish of this show.

I agree about the Shaad and Sanam2 bit. Sanam2 is clearly a vamp but I don't know what they're trying to show Shaad as. He's doing the same kind of actions as the vamp but it's unclear as whether we're meant to see him as "bad" though he clearly is.

I totally get what you mean about Sanam though. She isn't just backed into a corner but is completely clueless. At least whilst pretending to romance Sanam2 Aahil has the right to his own feelings and thoughts but Sanam doesn't even have the right to that. She doesn't know anything and doesn't even have the right to her own mind and feelings about the situation. At least Aahil is able to hate Sanam2 whilst pretending but Sanam can't even do that because she's clueless and isn't aware of the right information to be given a choice or free will.

I want Aahil to be more proactive than reactive. So far he's letting witchy win while all he does is show some disapproval and roll his eyes. Come on Aahil do something plz.

This is exactly my problem.

I want Aahil to something not just sit there going along with whatever Sanam2 wants and rolling his eyes and disapproving while she practically tries to take his izzat. Like how is this going to get him anywhere?

Ok I am not gonna lie, I am actually looking forward to seeing this, (of course KV is the biggest reason 😉) But I personally really enjoyed the scenes yesterday, esp the innocent questioning of Aahil and the freaked out look in S2's eyes 😆 And the glaring in the hospital was powerful ☺️ I agree that it should not drag but I feel that they cant just wrap up a track in a week, all this is leading up to something... Anyway thats just my opinion, I cant wait for SaHil to meet either but I really dont want the SK/Misbah nonsense n Sanam being jasoos happening while the SaHil track is going on... I rather they deal with that first n meanwhile give us entertaining scenes between S2 n Aahil cuz the Pak track is a big bore lol When the SaHil track starts, I want it to be emotional n romantic... But anyway the cvs do what they like lol I dont have much hopes on them. For now, I will enjoy JJ playing games with the witch 😉 And looking super sexy while doing so I still feel that the ball is in his court and he has a plan! I can sense changes in the storyline n have no issues with the current pace lol As long as Aahil is not a victim, I will keep watching for KV! He is doing a fantastic job these days! Even Aditi! Anyway thats just my opinion, I am having fun watching S2 n Aahil lol Atleast Aahil knows of her real face n what she is capable of... Its all his choice n he knows what he is doing! I am interested to see what his plan is! And I look forward to the final showdown as well as how he goes about saving his Begum Jaan! Anyway TFS Nafs!

Aahil has promised severe revenge against Sanam 2 and hopefully that's what we'll see. Not Aahil again getting played by Sanam2 because I'm sick and tired of that. I'm tired of the villains always winning and playing the leads like puppets.

I missed reading this earlier, but this is exactly what I mentioned in my comment, that Aahil knows what he is doing while Sanam is acting without agency. Aahil has already seen S2's real face and has a plan, in that case he cant be seen as being victimized again. I personally feel that the ball is in his court and a final showdown will happen before he goes to Pak. Sanam on the other hand is missing vital information to make a decision for herself. Like you said, she is acting on the false information being fed to her. The two scenarios are very different.

Another comment of yours I agree with (dont wanna keep quoting ur comments lol), is the one about the pace. I also feel that they are trying to get the Sk/Misbah track up to a certain point before moving forward. I personally dont want Sanam being a jasoos while Aahil is around her. It will take away from the emotional aspect of the track! Changes are being made but the track cant just be wrapped up in a week lol I do feel like they have speeded things up a little from before but they have to reach a certain point before moving forward. Anyway lets see what happens in the next week or two. That should clear up some things lol

I still don't understand why Aahil's going along with this instead of taking action against her but I can only hope that his intentions and plan will be made clear and he won't appear weak.

Maria and KK, you both are 100% right. Maria, the scenes are cheap and tacky, and you're right they are doing this "On purpose". They make Aahil have to "tolerate" the Chudail's advances, and on the other side, they have clueless Sanam "throwing herself" at Shaad because she thinks he is her husband. (Like the hook scene they shot). So BOTH are being used. One knows it, and is playing along for his own purposes, coz he needs time and a PLAN to bring this women down. The other has NO clue, so she is doing all these things and giving liberties to someone who does not deserve any!

Your right, the makers are trying to get leads to "Romance" other people be it "Fake" or "Misguided" but without "Accountability". They dont want to show them as CHEATS. But in some way or form that is what they are! Because they are both doing things with other people that they should NOT! Plain and simple.

The Sanam case is worse, coz she is being lied to and mislead so she is completely being used! Aahil is being used too, but the difference is, he KNOWS it! At least he has the freedom to know that this is wrong. His thoughts and feelings are his, and those are not misguided. But Sanam? She cant even THINK "this is wrong", because she has no reason to! Worse still, the only thing she feels is this "Uneasy feeling", like when she didnt want to put the ring on! She FELT it was wrong, like a 6th sense! But her rational mind is asking her why she thinks this? But our 6th sense is usually right! Because it sees beyond what is presented to us, and delves deeper.

I guess we just have to wait and watch to see how much lower these people can go! The show is already in the gutter. Is there a place lower than that? I am sure if there is, THESE CV's will surely find it! Don't you worry!
