Ishita more a mother than a wife. Raman strikes a balance though.

It somehow feels like Ishita always gives priority to Ruhi only (I love you Ruhi... but that is not the point here :))...
From the beginning Raman has felt responsible as a husband (I am not talking about love here)... He defended Ishita with Bala's mother when she was drunk ... He saved her from goondas and told the police that people automatically become strong when it comes to the lives of their kid and wife (this was in the initial days of marriage)... There are so many more incidents...
He always wanted Ishitha to be happy. Remember the time when Ishita says that she understand Simi's position as she lost her first love too (Subbu), Raman was very upset. Raman wanted to ensure that she was happy in her marriage. He eventually fell in love with her...
I am probably feeling sorry for Raman as in the recent episodes, Isitha has totally ignored Raman and has been blaming him for taking Ruhi away from her.

Yeah right thays the reason zhe choose Adi over Ruhi and even after constant verbal abuse and yellings she is sticking to him for fun.

what would you like to say about Raman seducing Ishita for custody papers ? As a husband did he feel ashamed of his act ? Where was the husband when he was busy having family outings and dinner for his son ? Where was this husband when she stayed with his ex wife for his son ...where was this husband who accused his wife n no of times for Shagun and why doesn't he open his mouth when his ex wife abuses ishita.

Raman the great belive in hiding stuffs where his wife and can easily trust his ex wide over Ishita ...what a husband wish no gal gets such a unique piece as a husband

No matter what happens Ishita will be blamed as Raman can never be wrong for his fan girls...if Ishita had done what Raman did then she won't be accused everyday...

hmmm... good points...
I agree about the seducing thing... It is totally unacceptable!! How did I forget that episode??
Yes, Raman has a BIG weakness - Adi... On the other hand, even though Ishita loves Ruhi, she doesn't do anything unfair to obtain her...
One other thing is that Raman doesn't seem to stand up to what is right.. He is a CEO... All of us know that we cannot reach that high a position without being a go-getter... However, he is shown to be weak these days...
Anyways - thanks yyy... I am atleast feeling less sorry for him...

We must understand one thing both Raman and Ishitha as individuals have flaws like any other couple. Thats why they sound realistic.
Even in real life husband and wife commit worst act towards eachother thats primarily because they take each other for granted and that why the relationship becomes strianed.
But one good thing about both of them is both try to apologize to eachother in their own way after they commit mistake. This is why even though they have flaws in their relationship they are still togather.
But the act that they perform towards eachother are nevertheless un forgivable but their love for eachother makes them forgive each other and get going.

i actually agree with ur first post, TM...both characters are flawed...but the crux of the matter is, that Raman has evolved more from the time of 'sirf ruhi ke liye' . It has become a second nature for him to think about Ishita's welfare, along with Ruhi and Adi

but for Ishita, its Ruhi first and foremost...if Ruhi is with her, than she will give her attention to others...in that too, Raman comes last...and unfortunately if Ruhi isnt around, than she looses her mind, forget thinking bt her husband...

and here, m not thinking bt what wrong Raman did or what wrong Ishita did...but this is how the characters has evolved..from their, 'sirf ruhi ke liye' phase

whatever wrong Raman did, i actually feel sorry for him, cause none of his wives wanted him for himself...just out of love for him...Shagun wants him for his money and Ishita wants him only when Ruhi is around...

i understand that parents go berserk when kids arent with them, but even in such time of crisis they support each other, as they both are going through the same loss...but here instead of supporting Raman, Ishita was hell bent on taunting him...reminding him again n again that it was his fault that ruhi isnt with her...she totally forgot that ruhi is raman;s daughter too, and that he is going through the same pain that she is...thats cause she doesnt give him priority as her husband...from her POV, their marriage stands only if Ruhi is with her...if she looses Ruhi, than it doesnt matter whether Raman exist or not...

Raman has more experience being a husband than Ishita since this is her first marriage. Ishita has spent the first year of her marriage putting up with Raman's past. Lets not forget Raman hasnt accepted Ishita fully as his wife as yet. Basically what we see is companionship. He did insinuate he will consumate the marriage only after both his kids are with him. So I think he also puts his kids before Ishita. With the entry of Subbu we will now see Raman having to put up with Ishita's past. ishita has conquered being a mother & DIL so now she needs to concentrate on being a wife. Hopefully its not another Mani track again. Cv's should spare us by showing less of Shagun or they should utilize KP's absence to start a new track for Shagun by introducing someone new for her.

Ishita and Raman, both of them are humans more than as a couple. So, they make mistakes and realize it. It does not mean, we will blame any particular one. Both of them have flaws because they are humans. It's nothing serious to bash them. That's the reason, they are the most realistic.

Remember the episode when Shagun criticizes Raman for not loving Aditya enough and forgetting an important date? Ishita asked Raman why he married her if he still had feelings for Shagun... Raman said that Shagun doesn't mean anything to him except that she is his kid's mother... Ishita asked him to move on, etc. etc...
Today when she saw Subbu, her whole past came in front of her...
Agreed Ishita and subbu have known each other since they were 15yrs old, but Raman has lived with Shagun and has had two kids through her! They must be having a lot of memories too...
Relationships can be really complicated... They have portrayed it really well in this serial...
Both Raman and Ishita have a past and sometimes your past can complicate your present...
