"Have I really forgiven her???", He contemplated.
He had promised the devil of the darkness that he would freeze the flames of her love for eternity. Never to let her glow melt these frozen flames of his love again.
But who was he kidding?? He was drawn to her like a moth to a fire. He could never live without her. For her presence has left an imprint on his soul. An imprint so unlike the deep, ugly scars of his past. This mark of her innocence, her kindness, her hope, her positivity. This stamp of her love ,so unique, so her, sparkling like a star amidst the myriad of his scars.
The glow of her victory had yet again doused the darkened shadows of his hate, melting his frozen heart into a puddle of love. Their true love which lights up her fireflies. Her fireflies- the source of her hope, the reason behind her smile. That smile which is now all his to treasure.
