I liked this one for its subtlety...had it not been for the give away in the form of 'the limp' doubts would surely have remained on the identity of the woman

This is heart-touching. You have not given names to the characters which is interesting. It's Anjali, right? The limp helped me here. I felt for Anjali. Her thoughts-cum-questions about Shyam not loving her and pretending to be good speak up for her sadness. Great that she is strong to make a life of her and her son.

I went back to read another time trying to figure why I couldn't guess it was Anjali and not Khushi the first time I read! You're brilliant! This is a beautiful OS 👏
