Contrary to others I found the episode yesterday very dramatic.

I will pause to say " Well Done! " to Varun. He was very good. Voice modulation, the tears and bursting worry was very convincing.
Shaad tears through the maze of a building in search of Jannat. She comes out of her pained state enough to call out his name. He finds her unconscious and rushes to her, terrified.
He tries to revive her, rubbing heat into her hands and feet. He notices a snake bite on her foot, <of course in true Bollywood style *eyeroll*> sucks the venom out.
<PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Do not ever attempt this if you come across a snake bite victim. If you see such a thing, just grab the person and make haste to the nearest hospital. By sucking, you are just introducing germs from your mouth into your dearest Jannat's bloodstream!! URGHHH!!>
He holds her tight, thankful that she isn't dead. He tears up, extremely worried and relieved at the same time, in the heat of the moment realizes his feelings.
"I love you Jannat... Our relationship may be a lie, but my feelings for you are true. I love you Jannat !!"

He carries her out hero style, annoys fauxMisbah to hell as her plot failed again.
In the ambulance he received a call regarding Jannat's missing person report,at the spur of the moment. he felt a surge of authority, midguided protectiveness even, saying "Cancel the report, close the case..."
He probably thinks he is the only one who can keep her safe at this point. Or more like, he needs to see her safe with his own two eyes. Misguided protector type. Protector turned lover.
< I only see him setting himself up for heartbreak. Jannat is going to be the one who leaves him when and if she remembers, and he is going to be super tragic>
Back at home a doctor sees to Jannat, warning him that she may have after effects of the venom/ medication i.e. delusions/ hallucinations etc. She is emotionally vulnerable and must be protected.
<my ears pricked at the sound of delusions and hallucinations.. ah hah!>
Shaad uses his brain and pieces things together that in the midst of all this confusion, Misbah was the reason everyone went venturing the woods. And she emerges unscathed and unconcerned. He starts looking suspicious and SK turns on the melodrama and escapes.
Far away, Aahil is having drama of his own. With much difficulty he manages some time in private to call the army at the border. But gets news that Sanam may be dead, because there is no missing person report (already closed by Shaad...)
He grieves. ohh the pain... poor fellow.
Begum dodges the diversion and comes straight to him. You were calling someone??
Goodness the arrogance in her face! She isn't even pretending anymore. She thinks she has Aahil under her control... itching to slap her...
He pulls a gun out of nowhere ... You did this... You took my Sanam away from me... I won't let you go free...
"You think your stupid potion worked? Think again... I won't let you get away with this... "
Surprise surprise... she doesn't blink. Seriously this Witch is gutsy.
"Shoot me then Aahil ji !!?"
Aahil falters... again he underestimated his adversary.
She puts her hand on his and pulls the trigger, bullet is shot through her shoulder. She pretends to fall, while Aahil stands gobsmacked.
People arrive with the gunshot and she makes a big drama about Aahil's cruelty and evilness to her and her unborn child. She is taken to the hospital, and the press mob Aahil with accusations...
Whoa... I can't wait to see what happens next !!
Precap: Aahil threatens Sanam2 and she counters with another warning...
