Poonam needs to have a voice of her own, she does not need any man for that, which is my point. Why should Priyom always be there for her. She should prove everybody wrong, even Priyom ,that I can stand on my own two feet and defend my self respect. I just detest the fact, that you have to lean on a man for any kind of help.

All the men treat her in a filthy way, cause she allows them to. She needs to believe that she can do things on her own, not with a bodyguard before her. She needs to make the men understand that keeping quite does not make her weak, but she is quite, out of respect for the people.

And Priyom, he is another idiot, who just fools himself by saying that he is her savior and helper. If you are indeed a friend, you should have helped her fight her own battles, and if she fell stand behind her from falling down, pick her up to fight again.

He should be there to assure her, that 'Poonam, do not need to fear, I have your back, go ahead and fight.' But he is too self-absorbed with all the attention he gets. He has failed as a friend as well.

Infact, he has made her so much dependent on him that she could not even develop a spine of her own. I would not ever choose such a person for myself as a life partner.

Infact what Priyom should have done, Lakhan is doing it in his own sadistic way. By ill-treating her, he is pushing her to the point that she will lash out at him. Every woman, has strength, but you need a trigger. Lakhan is serving the purpose of the trigger.

If you ask me, I don't feel anything for Poonam. Cos as a character she has neither earned my sympathy nor my respect.

she is living and breathing due to priyom, priyom doesn't do becoz he wants her to depend on him but he wants her happiness.

If she becomes priyom s wife, she will be free and happy...

Your first point is 100% true... and there is a reason why Lakhan should be losing faith in his Bade Papa ... he made Lakhan apologise to that man and lady where he snatched the earrings when he was wrong. But Phoolan didnt reprimand Mithilesh when he was wrong which is unfair.

If you look at complete Thakur family, the strength is decreasing with new generations ... Phoolan and Bhushan dont have that fire and wit that Badi Dadi has and 3rd generation are not even half good as Phoolan and Bhushan.

For Poonam, I agree with u to some extent. She is one character with whom i can sympathize to a point. Later we hate such character. She is just another stupid stereotype "bahu" character like Tulsi, Parvati, Gopi ... people keep on abusing her and she still keeps crying and doing nothing to improve her situation.

But again, there is a reason for this. She has always seen her father abusing her mother. Her father was always loyal to Thakur family and would never raise voice against them. She has always lived in shackles and now she doesnt even have faith in herself.

In yesterday's episode, her father said if she has a problem with Lakhan's behaviour she can commit suicide or i will kill her. And he can do it. That is all he has been doing all his life, killing people for Thakur family.

So the situation is really bad for her and she needs to strike the right chord. She cannot lose her life for losers like Lakhan or her father.

And to raise her voice she needs to first survive. And the day she finds the self confidence to confront Lakhan and her father, her life would change forever.

And Priyom cannot do anything for her. He is another waste. But still he is better than Mithilesh and Lakhan.

Lakhan is in a very vulnerable situation. And at present, his personality is dominated by his ego. He is too hungry to acquire a position and influence in his family. His issue is his insecurity, that no one considers him capable enough to handle things, and his word or decision holds no value in the eyes of his family. And somewhere he too is responsible for his situation as he has earned a reputation for himself in Begusarai as well as the eyes of his family, that he reacts first and acts later. He is an impulsive and brutish beast.

And his mother is utilizing this weakness to her advantage also for power. His father and uncle only lecture him, don't help him. The only wrong thing he did was thrash Bindiya, but she also did a wrong thing, she should be punished, but Phoolan thought that the older brother shouldn't lose respect before his siblings, what crap?? He is not a good King at all then, if he cannot stay neutral. He is definitely being partial.

Had Phoolan made an example of Mithilesh, it would have sealed Lakhan and other children's faith that irrespective of status, the guilty will get punished. But, Phoolan in fact distanced himself from his nephew.

Poonam, is gradually breaking open her shell, and Lakhan by doing what he does best, is helping her in that process. Sometimes negative situations or people have positive outcomes.

I like Priyom, because he helps Poonam. But he is not born to be Poonam's mouth and backbone. I think that he could really do more as her friend, not someone Poonam hides behind, but someone who stands behind Poonam as her support system, that's it.
