I hope someone does something, cos this marriage is nothing but a battle of the ego between two Thakurs.
Mithilesh's ego~ Being all silent on the dining table and not responding to Badi Amma's taunts, does nothing to move him, as his ego seems to be swallowing him whole. The ego of the Begusarai's would be King, the ego of being the oldest brother, the ego of not letting his younger brother to gain an upper hand. This one decision he chose to take on his own, of letting Bindiya in will screw up the entire family equation. And a few days back his father was praising him to be all responsible and managing everything so well. So, thank you Mithilesh, because of you we are going to have a story.
Lakhan's ego~ This guy, will be his own doom, if he does not put a leash on his two weaknesses~ Anger and Ego. Again, he is screwing Poonam's happiness, by wanting to marry her within a day. WTH??Dude, you go on like this, you ain't getting the girl, pal. And his venomous mom, has nothing to do but crib and spew venom. And Lakhan, chose a great day to listen to her. Now I understand why Mithilesh and Priyom wanted to stop the wedding, as per TC article, because Mithilesh does not want to get defeated by Lakhan, and Priyom knows that its not going to be right for Poonam to marry right now. And all this why - because one wants to throw Bindiya out, and the other one doesn't.
Phoolan's Silence~ This guy only does 'parivaar' ka jaap, but is doing everything wrong. Dude, you are the King, for God's sake, King always has to be neutral, irrespective of who is standing before him. You are kind of proving to be just a Mukhya of your family, not King. Your family also fall amongst the people of Begusarai, you have to be just there as well. Take uncomfortable decisions for their good. That is what a King does. Just giving them your gyaan is not doing well for them, as you can clearly see. And you know, your children are a bunch of egoistic brats fighting because of a woman. Your silence will be your ruin, wake up, Mr. Phoolan sleeping lion Thakur, otherwise it will be too late.
Badi Amma, the Star~ Aaj ki star was Badi Amma. Now that is what a true Thakur is. She is a woman, with the guts of a man, with no qualms of speaking the truth, in the most blunt way possible. That is why she is Phoolan and Bhushan's amma, and we know where all the Thakurgiri comes from. Hats off to her. She did not just show Bindiya her place, but also saw through all her stupid womanly tricks. If Bindiya has had ghat ghat ka pani, then Badi Amma has fought, killed, looted and survived in the male dominated society. So, do not mess with this spunky grandma...Uff, i just loved her today.
That's it for the day, as I am not commenting on any love triangle. But, must say, its turning messy, and i don't like it that way.đ
