headlines ever since the release of the film's first look. But away from
the media glare we hear of a trade deal that just went through. In fact
we hear that producer Kumar Mangat best known for his ventures like
Special 26 , and Omkara has acquired the right of the film.
Apparently Mangat has acquired the distribution rights of Gabbar is
Back along with the soon to release Paresh Rawal starrer Dharam
Sankat Mein in a package deal worth a whopping Rs. 60 crores. As for
the breakup we hear that Mangat shelled out Rs. 42 crores for the
rights of both films with an addition spend of Rs. 18 crores on
publicity.
Confirming the same Mangat stated that he has acquired the all India
distribution rights of both Gabbar is Back and Dharam Sankat Mein ,
however he refrained for commenting on the price for the same.
