Actress Gauri Pradhan Tejwani, who made a comeback to TV after five years with Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, is quitting the show

Sources say that Gauri had been unhappy with the way her track shaped up on the show. "She had agreed to play mother to the lead actress only because she thought it would be a meaty role and would have scope to perform," says a source.

"After Hiten Tejwani (her husband in real life) entered the show, she felt that things would improve and the focus would be on them. But since that too didn't happen, she decided to opt out and the production house too agreed to end her role. It was an amicable decision," source added.


Gauri's character will die in the upcoming track. The actress remained unavailable for comment.
