Risthon ka bhandan toot gaya
Episode begins with a broken hearted Ragini, her engagement broke, the dreams she had intertwined, with one jolt, all came falling back down. As Ragini stood, tears came falling down her eyes as she could not believe just what had happened, her first time heart break. This was really heart touching to watch. It was her first love and within a jiffy all gone into thin air.
Ragini had always been a girl whom would follow her grand-mother, she was someone whom did not do anything without her permission, but today her shell is starting to break, that cocoon of boundaries that she was set in is starting to rip open as she begins to speak for herself and take her own decisions, listening to her father. Before she was not like this, she was someone who always abided by her grand-mother's decision. It was really good to see this shell being broken, to see her finally not being the "robot" and not a puppet of her grandmother. Shekhar once again like a dotted father supported his daughter and stood by her decision, this was commendable of him. Ragini, loving her full confident and strong avatar.
Her Grandmother really follows her traditional values, to an extent yes even to this day and age, if looked at it from her perspective, the thing that she mentioned about society and all that, yes it does happen, however, she still was in a way still wrong, she has no right to control Ragini, like she is no robot like the way she wants her to be, she is a human and has every right to make her own decisions, and I'm glad like I have stated that this shell is breaking apart. And also why blame Ragini? She wished to start up on a path of truth with no hidden shells, what she did is commendable.
Here instead of providing her the support she gets into trouble, Ragini is a young lady and what she said was true, the more the truth is hidden, the harder it gets, its better to be open now then let it blow up later.
Another point out was that of her dialogue about values and so on, this really needs to stop, in her dictionary values means being the constant robot and abiding by her rules, this is not how its meant to be, everyone has right to live the way choose and in a way make their own decisions, however by saying this, yes they are as elders allowed to point out and tell them off when they take the wrong turn but what Ragini's grandmother is doing is being a control freak. This caught me off guard when she talked about Ragini abiding by her rules.
Now coming to Shekhar and Sharmistha, here follows another broken heart, they love each other yet due to circumstance are further apart. Love is so clearly visible in their eyes; they understand each other so well. Swara clearly saw this and even Ragini did, which was why they were so determined to bring these star crossed lovers together. In terms of dida today, her perspective was understandable, she still fears the twenty years ago nightmare, where Shekhar had under pressure dissed Sharmistha, it's a relevant fear but slowly she needs to overcome it. The wounds for her is still fresh (for dida) and it will take a lot of efforts. Her own fear of not wanting her daughter hurt, its understandable.
But Shekhar too is changing as a person, no longer is he shell locked and a puppet, he is breaking out of the cocoon of it. He has sort of awoken and has been able to confront his parents.
Laksh, a carefree person to the outside world, a person whom is a free-bird almost, full of confidence but inside he is a guy whom needs support, that confidence. He is caged inside his own house, forced to take decisions that he does not want, no wonder he makes wrong choices at times. He does truly understand though what is is like to have a father yet feel like he is never there for you which is why he wanted Swara to get close to her father and as for Ragini, he wanted her to get a better life. May be from his perspective he did not want her to endure the controlled life again, who knows.
He has too been treated like a robot in his own home where he has to watch upon each step he takes or he faces a consequence so drastic. The fear of it was so clearly visible in front of his eyes when he was facing his dad. I finally got his motive today, and I think he was the one to send the video, okay, coming to that, he wanted to bring in the two families together and not have Ragini's life destroyed, so intentionally he was not wrong there, but what he did was wrong as a move. His motive no that's not wrong but the move is.
Hitler Maheshwari is a complete and utter control freak and even more than that. He thinks the world revolves around his finger-tips. Does this guy have no heart, no feelings? Does he not care, does he not see how frightened and scared his son and family are? Does he not realize what he is doing?
This person has so much anger and flame build up inside of him, it's like he could erupt any moment. He for one really needs a reality check. Being such control freak will only lead to disaster and his family is driven apart from him. This guy talks of self-respect like nobody's business but he himself does not show any.
Pre-cap was the same from last week where they face the humiliation. It was really sad to see the same thing. The same humiliation scene.
