IN my name: Rakhi Sawant pic/ SAMEER MARKANDE Today is Raksha Bandhan and the numerous makeshift stalls selling rakhis have mushroomed all over town. We spotted an ingenious seller at Lower Parel station. He sold his colourful threads with a catchy way to attract the attention. At the top of his voice, the vendor kept on saying, "Rakhi Sawant le lo!" As a result numerous passers-by stopped and looked into his collection! Now wonder what the item bombshell has to say about this marketing gimmick? Once upon a dance troupe Shahid Kapur Everyone knows that Shahid Kapur was a part of Shiamak Davar's dance troupe. However a source informed us that Shahid's good friend during his Shiamak days was none other than Karan Patel who's appearing with Amita Chandekar on Nach Baliye 3. Apparently Karan and Shahid were a part of the same group and were quite popular among their team. We wonder if Shahid will recognise Karan and cheer for him on Nach. Amita Chandekar and Karan Patel

Hmm.. Great that Shahid & Karan were together in Shiamak's troupe. While everyone knows Shahid is a brilliant dancer..I can't seem to say the same for Karan!

I mean..from whatever I've seen of Karan in the NB3 press conference and in Kasturi (where he plays a rockstar, hence the stage shows!), he seems slighlty stiff.

Hope I'm proved wrong and he does well in the show 😊

Well, lets see if that troupe paid offs for Karan as it did for Shahid who is an exceptional dancer.
