Another night of restlessness passed... the rays of the rising sun bought the fear n uncertainty with it!
How she wished she undo the time... n be back to her tension free college life... n his wishes were somewhere similar to hers... just that he wanted to be back to himself where he was in command with every moment of his life...
He wanted to be back home as soon as possible to get his answers... to calm his wandering thoughts. .
And she too wanted the same to clear the air between them... to calm her rapid beating heart!
As the evening arrived her restlessness took over her mind n her heart too... she didn't want him to be back so soon... babaji what would she talk... will he understand her... What if he didn't..
With the sound of the jeep she knew he was back!
Even today maa asked her to get ready in the evening... she was in her lemon yellow sari... she thought they were expecting some guests... but as the time passed by all the other thoughts flew out of the window...
She was mercilessly crushing her pallu n babaji's name never left her lips
There was a sudden silence in the house... he had a few words with papa... n maa silently handed him a glass of water...
It was dadi who stopped him n gave him a good lecture for leaving his newly wedded wife alone at the home n disappearing for two whole days!
She sounded so disappointed at him that all she wanted to do is rush to dadi n defend him... after all she was his wife n she had seen her mother defend her dad all her life...
And here he wasn't at fault too... babaji what are u turning the situation into... she thought looking at the turn of events...
As he walked up maa gestured her to follow him giving her an assuring nod...
He knew she was right behind n if he even slowed down in his steps she would bump into him. ..
But he wasn't in his right mindset to face her yet! This was the first time he failed in his responsibility!
He didn't even think twice before stopping his education just because his dad wasn't able to manage alone at that time due to his falling health!
His dad was a sugar patient n he was too young to understand anything... he just knew his baba needed his son with him so he stopped going to school! Later he had lost his interest with his friends far ahead of him!
He knew she was nervous with her shivering hands n the noise of the cutlery she was making... she didn't even raised her head from her plate... n was having food with full concentration!
Dadi chuckled looking at her to which he nodded his head in denial at dadi not to embarrass her!
He silently left to his room making sure his maa had her medicine.
She took her time to clean the kitchen n help maa locking the doors n walked back to her room wiping her hands to her pallu
He was waiting for her... but looking at her messed up state with tiny drops of sweat on her forehead. .. few strands of hair that escaped her tightly tied hair... n her hesitant steps...
He was surly a gone case!!
Looking at him approach her she took a step back n the door was shut behind her back!
Looking here n there she was finding a way to escape.. n he took advantage to the situation... bending a little he pulled her to him in a jerk n dropped few kisses on her tightly shut eyes...
Taking babaji's name she pushed him with all her strength!
N listening his voice which was filled with anger... she realised what her actions might have ment to him!

Enough not a word! Rising his hand to stop her from speaking further he walked to the balcony to calm his anger! Coz he knew this can't continue like this. .. he needs to talk!
A little sob escaped her lips with the fear she didn't know what more babaji had in store for her!
Now stop crying n speak up!
What do u think of me geet... y did u marry me in the first place?? If had so much problem with me u should have stopped this dam* wedding!
