ANKITA MISHRA: BAAT BAN JAYE FEVER!!!

I must confess Ankita's "Baat Ban Jaye" rendition has gotten me obsessed. I have literally listened to her singing this song ten times today, and still can't get enough of it! It is a very seductive number and her voice was sounding so different, yet sexy, yet melodious, and magical--absolutely bewitching in this number. She was hardly doing any performance (her usual jhatkas or matkas), other than swaying her body a little, but it was the way she was rendering it. Seriously, I just can't get enough of it!

If someday Sony releases an album with all the contestants songs, this has to be my absolute favorite from Ankita. My all time favorite being Smita's "Zoobie Zoobie" number.😊

Whether or not you are an Ankita fan, please let me know if you liked this number. I thought it was amazingly addictive, and would have love to have more people share my obsession for this song of hers.😛

Yes, I agree with you. It would be nice she could experiment with other songs. However, I learnt from Emon's chat transcript that the contestants do not have much leeway in their song choice. They get 5-6 songs and they have to select from those, so perhaps Sony producers are giving Ankita more item or hot numbers to sing based on her voice. But yes, I think as she is improving she can experiment more😊--then "baat ban jaaye."

Dear Buttercup,

I prefer the Font Size 4, so I will stick with that as it makes it easier for me to read and edit my own posts. I believe in between, I changed the font size of this post to 5 (which is too big and I appreciate you reducing it), but I would prefer to stick with Font Size 4 if you don't mind, as it makes it easier for me to read my post.
