Hiba Nawab turns singer for Tere Shehar Mein!

Hiba Nawab, currently seen in Rajan Shahi's Tere Shehar Mein, recently sang a romantic number for the show.

The actress says, "One day, the creative team heard me humming a song and they liked it. Later, the channel officials also encouraged me to sing professionally. I am not a trained singer and so, never considered turning it into a profession. But yes, I was keen to sing and when I got a chance, I gave it my best shot."

In the show, Hiba will be heard singing Dheere Dheere Se, the super hit song from the 90s' Bollywood hit, Aashiqui. "It is a lovely romantic track and it will be played in the sequences where Mantu ( Dhruv Bhandari) is shown as falling in love with mycharacter," she says.

Producer Rajan Shahi says, "The song fitted our storyline and Hiba has rendered it very well. Most of our actresses are multi-faceted and their talents should be encouraged. In my show Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata Hai, Hina Khan had also sung."
