Sneha vs Her Father

So far I was thinking Rishi being unemployed and may be belonging to the lower middle class family was the reason. Yesterday, my mother told me that more than that it was their caste problem as Sneha belonged to the Brahmin family whereas Rishi was Kayastha. I am not aware of much of this, as I don't know much about Indian culture...your views, friends. If this was, then it means both the reasons worked against Sneha and Rishi.

Like u I don't know much abt all The caste system n all ...but from wht I have seen in show's n movies n heard is tht people are STONGE supporters of their beliefs n cultures especially in India...

So maybe the father has not been able to forgive sneha n now tht Rishi is not there plus his suicide, has sort of solidified the belief of the old man

But I m sure he will thaw up in time
