There's a difference between jealousy and hatred.
I believe if you try desperately to make people envy you( by 'showing off' for example) then they will hate you.

Definitely not.It might help one's concentration to grow higher but still i find the people who meditate get anger so quickly like every individual.

It can for sure. The only thing is that it works if you do it with your heart and try to focus on the thing you are meditating for.

Be patient though.

Let me put that in a analogy. Bird is whistling in morning - one person comes and say," hey bird, you sing so well, You made my day". Bird replied, "I don't give a shit". Another person comes and this time he is hating on bird and saying," hey you crap, you woke me up" and bird replied "I don't give a shit" 😆. You getting me, where i am heading ? You do what you're supposed to do, what your values and belief system says. People have their own realities, own perceptions, they will judge you on that and you can't make all of them happy. Period. You're a bird - when you're doing your own work, things you like do to - people will perceive you with their eyes. Why to take their things personally ? You're not a donkey to carry their emotional baggage. So, detach what comes in your way. Enjoy what you like to do. Sometimes your decisions might backfire but that's how you learn and grow. So, when people hate you its not your problem again- its their problem.

Jealousy is comparison...and we have been taught to compare, we have been conditioned to compare, always compare. Somebody else has a better house, somebody else has a more beautiful body, somebody else has more money, somebody else has a more charismatic personality. Compare, go on comparing yourself with everybody else you pass by, and great jealousy will be the outcome...it is the by product of the conditioning for comparison...😊
