Kareena and katrina statues before Sridevi, Dilip kumar Dhoni?

Statues of Sachin, Mahatma Gandhi, Khans, Amitabh bachan, madhuri I think are justified. Aishwarya's debatable but she is famous outside india had international assignments those years it doesnt look doubtful. but its dumb they have statues of bollywood actors who entered films after 2000 they have limited filmography to be put up there as actors or as iconic superstars. 😆 Hrithik, kareena and katrina's statues have been made but not of Sridevi's. Sridevi was the first true female superstar. No statue of Kajol who was part of DDLJ and Kkhh films that have big role in the bollywood NRI business. Legends Rajesh Khanna or Dilip Kumar they are so famous outside india for their films and songs. Tussauds made statue of Indira Gandhi and Gandhi who passed away. Hollywood actors who are no more alive, have perfectly looking statues in there. Why not icons from Bollywood? Raj kapoor? Yash Chopra? Madhubala? No Dhoni? They didnt progress from Sachin. Kapil Dev and Dhoni should have been there before anybody else from the new heroines of bollywood. Next year they tussauds will create Ranbir and Deepika to put beside the Katrina statue. Shahid or Saif statue to give company to Kareena and Hrithik's statues 😆. They can place all the exes and currents followed by Alia and Varun statues in next 2 years. 😆

Amit ji, Shahrukh, and Madhuri are the most justified.


Amit ji and SRK - Both are superstars of their time and have a tremendous fan following.


Madhuri - also has a tremendous fan following. People still want to see her dance. Not only has she made a name in acting, but as a performer and dancer too.


Aishwarya can be debatable. As a bollywood star she's not that great in terms of acting. But she has that international fame and presence. And her pagent title to her fame.


I love Hrithik, but his contributions are nothing for a statue to be made. Same with Kareena and Katrina.


So many greater names are missing. But I guess it's more about popularity than true contributions.

Its abt popularity . They make polls on whose statue it should be

They make one for who the fans vote for.

One statue won't turn a mediocre person to a great one or vice versa. Sridevi and Dilip Kumar will remain great personalities while Kareena's, Ash's and Katrina's statues will be PR tools to bag endorsements long after any public cares to go for their movies.

It's a money making business...they'll obviously go for current sensations who would bring in larger crowds.
