right but the truth is that yuvraj loves her now, even though he will not accept it. but he has realised that suhani makes him happy, makes his family happy all except Dadi, rags & megs.
suhani understands him, and is the perfect life partner he wants to have. yuvraj loves his dadi she is a part of his family, and he only wants to prove to her that outward beauty is not everything, and it is inner beauty (that suhani has) that really matters.
he has to prove to dadi that suhani is perfect wife him and Dil for the family. once and for all so that dadi accepts suhani and stops all her from taunting suhani and scheming to throw her out of his life.
i dont find that regressive or repulsive. keeping a family together, where there is tolerance and acceptance is the foundation of an indian family.
and trying to make an elder member of the family realise their mistakes is way better then going against them completely, or cutting them entirely from your life.
@bold- I don't believe he is anywhere close to loving her. He cares deeply for her, but it's not love yet. Also, why is it that women are always shown going through so many trials and tribulations to gain the acceptance of evil people?
@bold2- Dadi is a gone case. So, just because she is family and elder, she should go scot free? 😲😲 So, only Soumya should feel the heat of this plan, but not Dadi- who has engineered the whole thing? Where is the logic in that? If said elder demonstrates an abusive and evil personality, why should she be forgiven? Just because she is family? Suhani can give high and mighty speeches to outsiders and ensure they are punished for their misdemeanours, so why does Dadi get this free pass? I don't understand this. Just because someone is old, it doesn't mean that they have the right to do anything and get away with it.
Also, regarding the 'keeping the family together' part- what family? The Birlas are a family? A family where 3 people plot endlessly to terrorise the others? I don't think such people are worth being called family. What is regressive is that they're trying to say that Somu is unfit to be a Birla Bahu because she wears Western clothes or doesn't know how to cook, when that's not the problem.
The problem is that she is an evil girl with a bloated sense of entitlement. If Dadi cares about the family, why doesn't she care about Somu's personality traits? If you're saying that Yuvi is trying to make Dadi realise that inner beauty is important, then accordingly, he should try and bring out Somu's inner vices to the fore. Oh, wait a minute. Dadi already knows about them and doesn't care. 😆😆 She only cares about the exterior and her scolding Somu is nothing but a charade to prove to Yuvi that Somu can change for him.
