Marital rape is a serious offence which is sadly not raised enough in our country, so I am not really against the idea of this track, rather it finally makes sense for Ashok Mihika angle, he never was in love with Mihika, it was LUST since the day he set his eyes on her intending to make her a pawn in his games - so rape/attempted rape was bound to come into their track sooner or later. With the marriage it became even more grave since now it would be Marital rape.
Ashok has been a villain since the beginning of the show - to have him shown as a comic relief was in fact rather absurd and pointless so frankly its reserrucating the villain of the show - in the absence of Param, we sorely needed one and while Shagun has quite taken over the show - some issues cannot be raised even with her playing the devil that she is shown.
As far as looks go, who said that its only hideous looking men who can rape? A good-looking guy, someone who is shown to be educated, cultured and sophisticated, one of the creme de la creme of the society can be a beast too in actuality - what you are doesnt really have anything to do with your looks or position in society,
No offence meant and while Sangram is a good-looking man, at the end of the day he is playing a villain, for him to change his spots would mean that pigs are about to fly quite honestly,
The only grievance I have is now that they already have so many things at hand will they be able to execute this track properly? Because the last time they almost broached this issue was way back in the Mani track when a drunk Raman almost did the same thing with Ishita but the next day it was all hunky dory with a dash of romance and sweets.
This time I hope they pursue the issue more stringently and the track doesnt just go awry as its prone to when its YHM we are talking about. Cause if there' one thing our splendid CVs know very well is how to set base for an excellent track, raise hopes and expectations for it by giving it a momentum and then killing it in the blink of an eye and squashing our dreams related to it.
