Confession - I was disappointed today only because I really like watching Mahakumbh, so I have huge expectations. I really do not like to criticize anything about MK cos at its worst also it is much much better than anything else on currently.

However the Nagas entry was very disappointing for me. I don't much care about the good look of the actor playing lead Naga - his gently blowing hair in the breeze or stylish way to take out sunglasses! Basically what Nagas did was a terrorist attack on the Mahakumbh.

So far NONE of the characters of MK even Nanu Balivesh Greyson wanted to harm innocents - unless they were in the way of attaining their aim (except maybe the first bomb blast at start of MK).

Why show innocents just butchered for no reason? Just to create an impression that Nagas mean business???

After all the posturing and training in the Himalayas all they did was pump bullets in innocent bystanders. I am sorry but even a 30 kgs weakling can do that. Putting bullets and butchering innocent unarmed innocents is JUST TERRORISM nothing else.

Why would they show Nagas enter this way in MK? If this is about Amrut and they are against Garudas - ok they are after Shiva and Rudra. Harming Rudra's family even though sick atleast that can be considered as done to break Rudra. However that entire sequence just left me feeling disgusted.

If Garudas are to protect Amrut and Nagas enemies of Garudras by showing them as terrorists - they just lowered Nagas to common thugs and it takes off the sheen for me.

If heros are to shine the villains are also to be strong - only then fight has "dum" - they turned Nagas into terrorists - putting bullets into bystanders for no reason is biggest act of cowardice and big let down for me.

Totally agree.
They need to have a method. Even the secret society can do this. Or any bad person. They looked like terrorists rather than the ones shown earlier(practicing upside down).
in Devasur sangram for amrit, devas and asuras had some 'usools' or atleast asuras had some distinctive traits.
Disappointed thoroughly.

Nice post . The get up and the way nagas hv been presented has robbed them of a mythological aura . They are looking like black cat commandos in their get-up and terrorist in their actions ,ambushing their targets .In earlier promos , I was fascinated by the depiction of nagas . Now the way Rahil was presented with his silky shampooed hair blowing in the wind ,he reminded me of a tall Salman khan , rather than some mythological character . But still , I dont know why , I did not get bored yesterday

I just read Arshi's take on the nagas . I feel rudra , inspite of being modern and contemporary , has a somewhat different aura about him . But i guess , this is just one episode . So let us wait for the episodes to unfold and hopefully we all will prove to be wrong
