Starters since I can't be suave and organize my thoughts before jumping on to the point that you last left us at. I don't think I am ready to renounce the claim to the slowest story ever. When you are over a 100 chapters, we shall talk ;)

And now that I have that out of the system - can you also help me with tips to get rid of this perpetual state of yearning that the story leaves me with. It's like falling in love with someone when you know it can never happen. You can't help but be drawn, you feel that flutter in your chest, the tingle in your fingers, the lead in your stomach but there is very little you can do except float along like a wayward leaf along a strong breeze.

That is how your story leaves me feeling. What is pace when there is beauty?

Keep your writing going the way you know best. Because your best really is pretty darn amazing

I won't comment on the happenings. Because I don't want to analyze this story. I want to live it.

MB, I loved this update.

Meera is such a darling. You have so nicely sketched Meera's character that each one of us having kids can relate to her as our own child. And her enthusiasm is very contagious too. As a reader I keep smiling while reading about her. No wonder Arnav just adores her. I love the way he calls her squirt and cares for her.

In this update when Arnav hugged Mohan in one arm and took Meera in his other, I immediately thought they would make such a nice family.

And Meera too has been totally taken over by Arnav's magic. Looks like she literally adores him.

In the earlier updates I did not see her bond so well either with La's husband or Akash. Arnav has surely made a special place in Meera's heart.

I have fallen in love with this Arnav completely.

Generally kids are best understood by their mothers even when they are very little. And looking after an autistic child who does not express his feelings or who does not know how to express it, is indeed a big challenge everyday. It takes a lot of patience, perseverance and tolerance to understand such kids and to look into their everyday needs. As much as Maya is a good mom, still she is not with Mohan all the time day and night. It is Arnav here who is taking on the role of both mother and father most of the times to look after this kid. And even though he knows the limitations of his kid, yet today when he realised that Khushi understood Mohan's condition, his vulnerable side just broke my heart.

I am glad that Khushi reached out to him and hugged him to comfort him. I also glad that he did express his feelings to her even though she is still not in that place to move ahead. It takes time and I am sure slowly Khushi will take that step forward.

Somehow I feel that Khushi and Mohan will form a special bond in the long run.

Maya is an illusion like her name. Who is she?? Why did her marriage with Arnav break whereas her friendship with Arnav is strong like a double helix bond???

No wonder Khushi also is surprised at their friendship.

Will we get a peek on how Mohan and Meera are bonding in the next update???

What a heartwarming update. You just want be a part of it and never want it to end.

When Mohan called Meera Amma it said it all, what more can one yearn in that moment. It was a beautiful start of a life time of bonding .

Meera & Mohan, She being patient and him accepting her hand slow yet strong hold.

Manoram & Nani, the understanding Instant and yet again a strong one.

Arnav - Well how could he be voice his emotions with the Three of his favorite people bonding with no awareness of the world around them.

Maya - Can't but appreciate her for wanting this family to be whole knowing the love and respect she sees between Arnav & Khushi. Wanting to help in her own way.

Waiting for the story to keep folding out and seeing it through your words into their world.

Slowest story? This is a perfect example for the quote "the trees that are slow to grow bear the best fruit". No matter the temptation, somethings still have to be slow cooked. This story is no different for me.

Thank you for that wonderful opening paragraph. You know how to set it up perfectly.

Include me also along with Meera and Khushi to the list of those who were really getting excited on the drive to Shantivan. It was probably the jetlag or the Delhi traffic but that was an interesting set of thoughts coming from Khushi and Manorama.

For all the thoughts, Khushi could not have asked for a better start at Shantivan. Mohan and Khushi's bonding was a special touch and kids being kids, as expected, always have the easiest of times to get along. Even Maya dropped in and she sure seems to have to put some of Khushi's demons to rest.

The real take from this chapter for me was Arnav taking the first bold step to grab the second chance he got. Khushi's predicament is understandable but fighting a battle where even your heart and thought are not siding with you is already a lost cause😉. Somehow this chapter felt like all the stars were made to align to make one event happen and we are all still eagerly waiting for it😊.

Take a bow for the way you have sensitively and practically handled and approached ASD. The view point of a professional who deals with it regularly, a dad who goes around with the pain hidden in his heart, and a mother who just deals with it openly. Goes to show how different their approaches are for a similar concern they all share.

Really looking forward more time at Shantivan. I am still waiting for Sumitra and Khushi's interaction to see how well they get along. Also looking forward to more Mohan and Meena's time.

maya and arnav's friendship is adorable, esp even after being divorced they understand each other way beyond a normal married couple would do. Maya understands that arnav is in love with khushi. She wants to play cupid between the two to make their second chance a life time success, just like hers and kailash's.

Somehow I love Maya more than any character in this story and my second fav is Manorama.
