He asked Dhruv who was passing by.. "Dhruv..tune Nandini ko dekha?.."
"Aaj toh Friday hai na..tumlog toh har Friday yeh time par idhar hi hote ho..so aaj?" He replied.. "That's what the problem is...she should be here...but pata nahi..woh kabhi late nahi hoti..." Dhruv thought for a while.. "Oh ya..I saw her outside the ladies washroom..woh Alya se baat kar rahi thi..she looked a little sick...I think you should get to her..." "Sick? And she did not even tell me...pata nahi kaisi hogi...? I think I should find her...see you later.." "Bye.."
He roamed the whole college but could not find Nandini...but then he spotted Alya.. and approached her
"Alya...Dhruv told me you were talking to Nandini...and she looked sick...is she ok...aur who kahan hai..?" Manik asked with clear tension on his face. "Nandini...woh...who actually...I don't think you should meet her today.." "Why? Is she ok..?" "Ya she is fine..but..." "But what?" "I am just advising you to stay away from her today...baaki tumhara choice hai?"
Manik left from there...he suddenly spotted Nandini going in some room...he followed her into that room...and spotted a bunch of girls just staring at him in amuse...he just realised that he had entered the ladies washroom...but he still did not care..all he cared was that how was Nandini... while Nandini was looking at him with anger... "Nandini...are you fine..? I was so tensed.."He said... "Manik...are you mad? Tumhe pata hai na ki yeh ladies loo hai..then why are you here...?" Nandini shouted... "But Nandini..I was just.." Nandini then caught his arma nd left the washroom pulling him out... "Are you mad Manik...you know how embarassing it was.." "But..baby how are you..?" "Baby..? You are calling me a baby..? That means you think I don't look matured..and I am very kiddish?" "arrey but Nandini...I toh always call you this...anyways chuck it..you are my big woman..ok?" "Big woman..? Manik..do I look so old..you are calling me old.." "Nandini..whats wrong with you...tum aise kyun behave kar rahi ho..?" "There is nothing wrong with me..everything is wrong with you only.." Nandini said and started walking ahead with Manik following her..
"Aaj isko hua kya hai..why is she behving so stupid.." Manik thought... Manik increased his speed and bumped with Nandini..her purse fell open and some stuff including a packet of Whisper Ultra Pads' came out.. Manik looked at it...and Nandini immideately packed it up again..
She suddenly put her hand on her stomach and said.. "aah!!" Manik said with care.. "Are you ok...?" "I am fine..its just a little tummy pain.." "What?Why?How?When? Lets go see a doctor...I will take you to the hospital...tum kuch bol kyun nahi rahi ho.." Nandini was very irritated that he just saw what dropped off her bag and still could not figure out.. so in irritation she said.. "Main tumhare bache ki maa banne wali hu.." Manik was shocked..he took a step back.. "What?But..kaise..mein toh.."
"Its not my fault...tum ne hi protection nahi li..now you cannot tell me anything..""Tum kya bol rahi ho...Nandini how...no..i don't believe this.."...
Nandini giggled... "Nandini..tumm has rahi ho..?" "Manik yaar..you are such a stupid mujhe hasi hi aayegi na..." "matlab?" "Manik..I am on my periods...and its natural..you cant worry about me one week every month..." "So..nandini...ou were joking with me..about the bacha and all..?" "Buddhu..you should have some sense na..nd I am sorry" "About this joke?" "No baba...I talked very rudely with you na..actually its just I am a little irritated..all girls are during this time..so sorry.." Nandini apologized and hugged Manik... Manik hugged her back gently..
Breaking the hug nandini said, "Acha..Manik...I am very hungry..lets go to the canteen...nd waisa aaj toh Friday hai na..its our date day.." "U sure..tum theek ho na..?" "That's why m telling na...nd I cant stay hungry for more long...I am starving.." they both went to the canteen..
Manik ordered chicken sandwich for himself.. "Nandini..tum kya logi?" "Chocolate ice-cream.." "Ice cream..but baby its November,...weather dekha hai its so cold..what if you get sick.." "Manik..maine bola na I want ice cream...mera man kar raha hai na to have ice cream..why don't you just order it.." "Ok baba..ek chocolate icecream lana.."
Both the eatables came...Nandini started eating her ice-cream with so much pleasure that left manik shocked.. "Baby..I have never seen you enjoying ice-cream so much...aaj kya baat hai.." "Actually it just cools down my tummy.." "nandini..should I ask you something..?" "Haan.." "Yeh jo tumhari sickness hai..will it ever end.." "Sickness?..ur calling it a sickness Manik...it's a natural phase which every woman goes through...so please Mr.Manik respect it...and it will come every month for a week..till I get around like 50.." "Ok..so mujhe humare buddhe hone tak tumhe every month ek hafte ke liye pamper karna parega...?" "Only...if you want to grow old with me.." "Old toh mein hoga..my Nandu will always look young.." Manik whispered to her. This made Nandini's cheeks red..she just could not stop blushing... . "Manik...what if you break up with me...and go with someone else..." "If I break up with you..there would be only one person who I will go to..that is God..I mean I would die If we both aren't together.." "Promise.." "Promise.." Nandini got up from her chair and hugged Manik..
Manik went on his knees and said.. "Nandini..Jaise maine bola...I want to grow old with you..Want to tolerate you and pamper you every month for a week.." Nandini smiled.. "Buy you chocolate ice-cream for that week...I want every morning of mine to start with you and every night to end with you..and..as you joked...I hope that in future you will once say this to me.. that you are going to be the mother of my child.." She laughed.. "I know I am bad at this..but I know you already understood..so won't waste time and say.. Will you marry me..?" Nandini had tears in her eyes now...she was so touched by this gesture of his..she had no words to express how happy she was... "Nandini..please jaldi answer bolo..my knees pain.." She smiled an nodded her head.. Manik too smiled and showed his 32 teeth.. They both hugged each other...and rolled into a beautiul kiss...
