Shikhar Mehra aka Arjun Bijlani is the new hero of the show. He is Ritika's (Smriti Khanna) close friend and Ranveer's (Shakti Arora) lawyer. According to the story, Ishaani (Radhika Madan) is given the death sentence. In order to make sure that she is hanged, Ishaani picks fights with a minister, who was visiting prisons. On the day of her hearing, she confesses killing Chirag and accepts her punishment.

In the upcoming episodes, Shikhar will be assigned Ishaani's case and like a true knight in shining armour he will rescue her by proving her innocent. However, once Ishaani is released she learns that RV is married to Ritika and her family has left the city.

Shikhar Mehra's entry last week has been the high point of the show. His character is the classic example of a Casanova who loves girls but he cannot be loyal to just one. Money and girls are his only priority. Arjun has been given a very suave look in Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, which makes him look rather hot.
