What a contrast to the loving mother she was introduced as. Even if she loathes the idea of her son marrying a divorcee, how can she be so inhumane as to have her killed with fire? Does she not think or care that a little boy will be without a mother? What kind of woman is she?

This woman always portrays a negative role so it is not a shock but initially I was really interested in hercharacter as articles stated that she will be completely positive .

Unfortunately!!! But lok at her fate her own daughter married Samrat an another divorcee and an ex prisoner.

She is worse than Samrat's mom. Shashi might be greedy and everything but I don't think she'd resort to this.

Really,what has happened to her her??... she trusted and even liked urmi...so y all this hatred????just because she is a divorcee??her own son loves and is happy with urmi,then what is her problem?it is not like urmi went first and proposed ishaan...

Samraat's mum was supposed to be uneducated, greedy and selfish and one can understand her behaviour...after all she did not even spare her own son whilst Ishaan's mum was portrayed as being educated, open minded, caring and loving...suddenly she has turned into this witch...one wonders why the CVs have killed her initial character..Instead Urmi has had 2 MONSTERS in law!!!!

yeah poor Urmi, she has been really unlucky with her mothers-in-law!

tbh Damini would b perfectly cast as head of a crime family - can just c her dealing out cold, clinical justice!
