Over-Used Expressions in the Books

Which are the most common expressions you find used in every book.. So much that now we should be calling them over-used!😆 Which are the expressions or words that set your teeth on edge?😆

Mine would be awesome (I have read it so much in the books that now i think a whole book should be written on it!), and Bloody Hell (Used by nearly every character when he or she is angry)

oh man..well...fro me it would be like "damn" when characters are trying to express their anger and...well...perfect...i have been reading that word a lot lately in books😃 great post pooja!😃

"Passion" - Man, i have read that word in so many books that i almost forgot the real meaning behind it!!

"Awesome" - Over-used word if i have ever heard one!

@ anamh: Once Upon Time is soo common! 😆 But now i dunt read any more books with Once Upon Time! 😆

@~devi~: Yup, even i have read damn loads of time.. Damn it! Damn! 😆

@ panache: I havnt read Passion Much.. But awesome defintly! 😆 C'mon writers there are many other words you can use! 😆

"Anticipate" is another word that i have seen is many books!!! 😉

i think when describing romantic moments, authors use the same stuff...

for example: her heart skipped a beat, her heart pounded against her chest

its become pretty cliched now

"I love you" 😆

"Hearts beat as one" That's another word you find everywhere... 😳
