you might have heard about
ONAM -THE HARVEST FESTIVAL OF KERALA.

But how well u know about this festival??

Here i am a proud Malayali ( a person from Kerala)

If u are curious to know the way we celebrate this festival

Do feel free to ask me!!!! After all being Indians

We must know very well of all our Regional Festivals

That's what actually makes

Onam:Celebrated In Kerala
Time:It falls on the malayalam month of Chingam(Aug-Sep)
The reason for Onam:It is to welcome the homecoming of King Mahabali,who had earlier ruled Kerala.
Duration:The Onam festival lasts for 10 days

The festival brings out the best of Kerala Tradition and culture.

my best frnd was mallu and she used to celebrate this festival..i learnt about pookalam in school and always wanted to try doing it..hehe but never attempted...anyways..happy onam 😊
