Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh go for a bike ride in 'Udta Punjab'

Mumbai: More pictures from the sets of Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab' have surfaced on the internet. The pictures feature Kareena Kapoor and her Bollywood newcomer co-star Diljit Dosanjh on a bike riding through the muddy roads of Punjab.

The film also stars Kareena's former boyfriend Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. However Kareena and Shahid will not share screen space in the film.

A day before the shoot of Udta Punjab (in which they co-star) was to begin, Alia called up Kareena and told her just how excited she was to have this chance to work with her senior. "Kareena couldn't help but reciprocate with equal warmth to Alia's affection. If there was any little discomfort in the past, it is now sorted," a crewmember connected to the film told us.

The film is said to be a gritty thriller based on drugs trafficking in Punjab.

Gippy Grewal. Punjabi singer and actor. I don't know anything about his Bollywood stint but he is as famous as Diljit. You have heard that angrezi beat song? He sang that one with Honey Singh.
