Trust Rakhi Sawant to indulge in the bizarre and still make it sound somewhat reasonable. Not too long ago, the item girl-turned-actress admitted to getting silicone implants as she felt 'incomplete'. Now, it seems, they're proving to be something of a bother.
They're gone!
Rakhi (along with boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi) will be participating in the new season of Star One's Nach Baliye, and it seems the 'extra bounce' is a problem. So what's a girl to do? If you're Rakhi Sawant, you'll get them removed! After all, it's for a worthy cause, no?
Over a month ago (HiTLIST, June 29), Rakhi Sawant admitted to us that she'd gotten breast augmentation surgery. She had said then, "I used to feel incomplete. I have a lovely waist and hips, but was flat on top. I was 32'', now I am 36. God never endowed me, so a doctor helped."
In the same interview, she had told us that she would remove the implants soon. She said, "The implants tend to bounce if one dances very hard. Six months after the show, I'll get them (the implants) back."
From bindaas to coy
Now that Nach Baliye 3 is just around the corner, it seems Sawant has made good on her 'promise'.
Says a source, "Rakhi got silicone implants nearly two years ago from a Dubai-based doctor called Dr Gupta. They had cost her Rs 2.5 lakh. Recently, she had them removed as they were hampering her dancing. That's why her breasts are looking smaller now."
However, the normally bindass item girl prefers to play coy when we call to ask her about this. She says, "I will talk about it when the time comes. It's too early for me to say anything. But yes, if I do commit to doing the show then I will have to take the necessary steps."
A source close to Rakhi says, "She is yet to sign the contract for Nach Baliye, that's why she's playing safe. At the moment, she is trying to figure out how she will adjust er time and dates for the show."

Rakhi: Ishaa is my competitor
We're told that Nach Baliye 3 is scheduled to have brand new judges. Saroj Khan, Kunal Kohli and Malaika Arora will make way for Ishaa Koppikar, Vaibhavi Merchant and Subhash Ghai in the new season.
A source from the channel reveals that Rakhi was apprehensive about Kpooikar's inclusion as both of them have been item girls in the past. "Both Ishaa and Rakhi have done sizzling item numbers in the past. Both are glamorous and terrific dancers, hence the idea of Ishaa sitting on the judge's panel and rating her didn't go down too well with Rakhi," says the source.
It's believed Rakhi said she wouldn't be treated fairly if a competitor from the industry judged her. "Rakhi doesn't mince her words, so don't be surprised if you see a showdown between her and Ishaa on the show!" adds the source.
