The 'Rainmaker' of Bollywood : Rohini Iyer

She started young, at the tender age of 16, to channel her energies in doing what she loves- talking cinema. As a young, go getter of a film journalist, Rohini Iyer forged permanent friendships with many a leading Bollywood star of the Nineties.

While some stars faded out, her PR firm- Raindrop Media- gained currency and clout as the reliable shoulder to place their burdens on for many Bollywood stars. Presently Rohini & her team continue to handle the hype around Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor & Abhishek Bachchan amongst others.

A young achiever who has single handedly led her team through PR of many films & stars over the years, Rohini has made it to power lists of Verve India & India Today Woman recently.

But more than that- what proves her ability to navigate Bollywood's people management challenges & PR demands- is the validation she found from producer/filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali onstage for Mary Kom. Bhansali, an elusive man who is sparse with compliments most times, thanked her for giving direction to this film that went on to make over 65 crores resting on a female star.

Rohini has now diversified into smaller, independent films too under Alter Ego Media and plans to grow further over the years with more big films & stars in her kitty.
