Divorce at the drop of hat

We are used to indian soap operas which often deal with marriages and subsequent divorces but no serial treats divorce the way the soap czarina treats it. I personally feel this has something to do with her personal psyche. She is nearing forty and leave alone the fact she is yet to be married i have so far never read anywhere about her having even a fling with any of the opposite sex leave alone a full fledged affair.

She does not seem to be normal as far as her relationship with men goes and that aspect pretty well reflects on her serials except Jodha Akbar where she cannot fool around because it belong to an era where talaaq was something pretty serious.

Take all her shows and compare them with other shows, I do not deny the fact that other shows also deal with divorces and re marriages but they do it on solid grounds and separate only couples who need to be separated for strongest of the strong reasons.

Ekta's serials are not like that. After fifty episodes event when everything is pretty fine between the couple she separates them for the sake adding pep to the story but it is actually the other way round. Not only that once divorced the characters do not keep quiet . They immediately go for second marriage, I am not against second marriage and of course necessary for the person to move on in life.

But once bitten twice shy says the proverb. Marriage is a serious commitment between two individuals and it cannot and should not break on frivolous grounds as it is depicted in Ekta's serials. In MATH Ishaani without even knowing what actually happened between RV and chiraag she is going to take the blame of murdering chiraag on her and she is not going to stop with it. She is going to declare that she loved Chiraag and not Ranveer and that is the reason why she never said I love you to Ranveer though RV was begging her to say those three magic words. What is the need to say those words when deeds speak for themselves, What about all thea smooching and hugging that she did with RV - were they all not expression of her love? If not love what was the need to do them? Who is trying to fool whom? Is Isaani trying to fool Ranvver or Ekta trying to fool the audience.

Now RV is going to marry Rithika and it is very obvious Rithika is the game changer because since the last few episodes there were too many unwanted close ups of her with a puzzled expression on her face and her goody goody behaviour and her keen interest in patching up RV and Ishaani were very obvious that it was fake. Alas ! what we are able to see through the brilliant business tycoon RV cannot and is going to fall a prey to her antics and marry her and then begins the merry go round marriage divorce and marriage and divorce and then again marriage.

I think Ekta thinks imarriage and divorce are like taking money from ATM. If she does not have a first hand experience of this relationship why not she consult her parents Jeetendra and Shobha. Jeetendra who ditched Shobha several times after taking her to the altar and was known for his innumerable affairs with his co stars Rajshree Mumtaz and even our ice maiden Hema Malini one day finally got married to Shobha Sippy and is still sticking on to that marriage, Who else can be a better person for Ekta to consult on matters relating to marriage then once casanova father Jeetu?

Ekta please do that and stop making a marriage and divorce a but of ridicule, they ae serious issues please.
