" geeet...listen..mujhe kuch kaam hai..u plz wait here aur maan ayega to take the tickets..two tickets...okay.."
" ji okay..but tum kaha jaa rahe ho" she mumbled adjusting her glasses..
" no where just have something to take care off..ill be back soon ..okay.." He assured her and slipped out..leaving geet standing alone in the parking area..
He paced a little a distance from geet and hid..so as to view her...
" maan beta aaj toh tumhe geet ko yeh romantic movie dikhani hi padegi..." He uttered smirking..
" thank god he came.." he breathed out in relief...as he gaped maan climbing down his car.
Maan got down and scanned the area ...to locate Vihang and chasmish..
Then he spotted geet standing in a corner...and headed towards her..
Geet blinked her eyes as she saw approaching towards her..
" here ..take this money..." He held out vihang's wallet..
" ohhh...okay ..." geet hesitantly took his wallet...
" where is Vihang??" maan asked narrowing his brows...
" ji woh...he had something to deal with..so he asked me... to carry on..and buy the tickets..'
Maan groaned...taking in a sharp breath...and cursed Vihang..
" ill buy the tickets...for us..." Geet muttered..
Maan raised his brow...
" meraa...matlab hai Vihang...and...me...movie...tickets..uhh ..' she retorted fretfully..rolling her dupatta in her finger..
Maan nodded.." stay here.. ill get the tickets..." he commanded...and sauntered ahead
Vihang's smile widened...watching maan moving towards the ticket counter...
" yipppeee" he shrieked in happiness...and patted his back..
" awesome..good job Vihang... bas kuch der aur intezar"
Maan bought 2 tickets and decided to wait until... Vihang arrives.. he tied his cell couple of times but it was switched off...
Maan's temper was rising.... " i m definitely gona kill that schmuck ...i swear..."he said gritting his teeth... and crushing the tickets in his hand..
" ji...ji." She gulped her saliva pushing back her glasses...
" aap...aap...jaa sakte hai...ill wait for Vihang...and we..wil...watch the movie..."
The last part came out as a whisper ...due to maan's glare..
He flared his nose...and placed hands on his waist.. " do u want to watch this movie??" he finally asked her...
Geet lowered her head and shook it... Though inside she was craving to watch the movie...
Maan sighed heavily... "lets go chasmish...lets go and watch the movie .jab.vihang aayega tab dekhenge...i cant see him here anyway " he suggested..and gestured her towards the entrance...
" wohooo plan successful...ENJOY THE MOVIE MR. AND MRS.KHURANA." Vihaang chirped...
Maan and geet entered the theater ...and sat down on their seats... there weren't many people..as it was quite a old movie..but a famous one..
" sir popcorns??" the waiter asked him...
" hmm..." maan glanced at geet and then...nodded..at the waiter... " yes..."
Maan offered the popcorns..to geet..to which she politely refused... the stupid waiter had given him one large one... instead of two...popcorns set ..Maan shrugged and settled comfortably on his seat...
Geet cleared her throat... to gain his attention..
Maan perked up his brow and looked at her..
"thank u maan sir..movie k liye.." She said tenderly ...as not even in her dreams she thought of watching a movie with him..!!
Maan pressed his lips together..and nodded
" movie is about to began chasmish samne dekho..." he replied...and she turned her gaze
The screen turned black for a moment and the movie began..
Geet perked up in her seat..with a small smile...on her face..as she watched the movie..
Maan smiled..softly glancing her...anyone could glimpse her eagerness..inspite of the dark!
Geet pushed herself..back in the seat popping the popcorns in her...mouth..during the song.. " mere khwaboo mai joh aaye..."
She grew flushed recalling those days when..she had fell in love with maan.. She chuckled...biting her lip... The way she used to be lost in her thoughts...and how rk used to tease her..
Maan was eating popcorn...after glancing geet every now and them... The movie didn't seem interesting to him...
Then it was time for the...Europe trip..followed by raj and simran's first meeting...
Geet unknowingly..clasped maan's hand...and cling to it in anticipation ...hoping raj would grab simran's hand on time...and He did..
Maan turned his face towards her...feeling her sudden touch..
Geet was oblivious to her own actions and was immersed in the movie... Maan thought to interrupt her...but reckon it will break her excitement..thus dint react..
Her smile only widened...watching the next beautiful scenes... While she even giggled when raj thumped simran down..
" hawww" she gasped giggling when he did...
Maan rolled his eyes
" yeh chamsish na she is such a kid...whats so funny in this movie.." he grumbled..
" let me also watch the movie...." he thought...and was determined to watch the movie..
Then came the romantic period..when they were left alone...
The moment when raj tore her dress...reminded her of the sari incident in the office...making her stomach flip.. She grew pink...and more flushed.. She slowly peeped at maan...and found him lost in the movie..
She bit her lip widening her eyes...as it stuck her...She was holding his arm.. She sighed...after she vigilantly took her hand back.. She was glad maan dint notice...
Unaware to her maan was very much attentive to her...when she recoiled her hand...from his arm..
It was now the end of the Europe trip...
Maan puckered his brow...when raj said he wont attend simran's wedding
Both were staring the screen...one with sad eyes..and the other curiously... when they(raj and simran) bid bye...to each other at the station..and parted their ways
Geet made a cute baby face when..they parted from each other
Maan shook his head..." dude u should have told her...that u love her..." he inwardly suggested raj..
He grabbed his coke...and sipped it... The next minute he..spitted the whole thing...as the images of raj and simran turned into him and chasmsish..
Her sari incident was playing back... He wiped his lips with the back of his hand furrowing his brows..at the screen
" chasmish??' he muttered..and slanted his neck...finding geet immersed in the movie..
" yeh kya hai..phir.." he thought...frantically gawking the big screen...His eyes almost popped out ...
The sari incident was screening there...
Maan gulped his saliva closing his eyes..tightly when he tucked her pallo...
His hands turned into fists...recalling her smooth skin...
" hmmm...sir..are u okay..." geet questioned poking his shoulder..wondering why were his eyes closed...
" huhh??" Maan snapped open his eyes...gaping geet.. She flinched back... nervously..." are u okay..sir..." she said in a worried tone
" ha..woh..yeh..." he pointed at the screen which was off...it was half time..and light were on..!
" kya hua sir??"
Maan clenched his eyes..." nothing...." He replied...gnashing his teeth... This was insane what's wrong with him...
" woh its half time..sir... um...ill be back...okay.." she responded..getting up from her seat
Maan nodded his head impulsively and then called her when she nearly reached the end of the row..." chasmish...where are u going??" he questioned her dint knw y...
" ji..woh.woh..washroom" She muttered softly..as her cheeks grew pink...
" oh..ohhkay...come back soon" he replied...making her astounded..
10 mins later she came back..and settled down..
Lights turned down..and movie began...
"maan concentrate on the movie...there is no chasmish..she is next to u...and not in that movie.." he chided himself..trying to assure his brain that the images are false and untrue..
Geet's eyes turned teary...when simran's father...denied her wish to marry raj..and forcefully took her to india..
Simran's face reminded her of their.. reception... when maan scorned to acknowledge their relationship..followed by those two...heart wrenching days of her life..
She shrugged those thoughts..and smiled..cutely. When raj and simran met in the farms..
"awww" she uttered dreamily...
Maan hissed angrily when he once again found himself..with chasmsish in the farms ..AND IN HIS ARMS EMBRACING HER!
The rest of the movie twirled maan's harmony into a hurricane!
Instead of kajol he saw chasmish wearing those suits... This mind was just revolving around her..
Thats true he had never witnessed women carrying off saris and suits with this poise.. Only women..indian women..who wore saris was geet !
Oh may be thats y he is reminded of her... He implicated foolishly !!
Presently for him DDLJ had chasmish and chasmish everywhere
The marriage ceremony reminded him of their marriage and their sr..He shifted uncomfortably on his seat..
His mind bloating those moments where he asked her to leave...but she resisted him..and stayed up in the washroom..
He smiled a bit...thinking of everything she does of him and his dad...No wonder dad adores her so much... she surprised him by taking such a good care of his father...
His thought process broke hearing a cry... he looked down at geet who was sniffing slightly...gaping the scene..
Maan turned his focus on the screen perplexed by geet's crying..
He chuckled..watching the scene..
It was final drama...that was happening when the family realised who raj is...
He again looked back at her smilingly..folding his hands and turning towards her side...observing her expressions.. She cried...for a moment and then smiled...
His heart skipped a beat when her lips curved into a breathtaking smile.. He was in some other state... and instead of watching this movie he retaliated with himself...and settled on watching her expressions...
She wiped the tear which slipped...and turned to maan...
She got startled when finding maan already staring her..
She gulped her saliva blinking her eyes rapidly.. His face was expressionless..and she couldn't make out anything..
" ji...??" She muttered in a low voice..
" m...maaan sir..." She called out ..a little loudly
" hmmm" he replied...still not moving his gaze..
" ji..woh...woh...aap...mujhe...mera matlb hai...woh..movie...khatam...khatam...hogayi.." she nervously blurted..pointing at the screen
He dint answer and continued gawping her...
He was bought out of his dazed state by his cell... Maan widened his eyes staring at chamsish...and smacked his forehead...looking away...
" why was i looking at chamsish taht way?? M going crazy i need a doc...' he stood up...furious with his behaviour...geet followed him...and got up hastily... Due to this she collided with maan...and in order to balance her self..and held his shirt from behind... directly landing in his arms...
Maan grabbed her waist as she descended in his arms... Her hands were clutching his collar while his were wrapped around her waist..
Maan blinked his eyes..staring her almond eyes..which seem to be captivating him.
The background was soaring with the ddlj tune..accompanied by thunders of clapps by the other folks in the theatre..
" oye hoye..asli Dilwale dhulania le jayenge toh yaha chalu... kya romantic Jodi hai yeh.sar ji..." Some one commented
This broke maan's gaze and he parted her..
" who said that??' he growled...
" oyee hoye...kya hua...sir ji hum ne sach hi toh kaha ."
Maan clenched his jaws..ready to smash the guy...But thankfully geet stopped him..
" sir..jane di jiye..chaliye..lets leave..' she requested him..timidly
Maan simply nodded..knowing its useless talking to these Indian people...who are crazy!
He angrily...walked outside the theatre ...with a trailing geet behind...
